Eagles Nest Milton, a beautifully restored Homestead.
Where We Escape Holiday Management welcomes you to Eagles Nest Milton.
Nestled on the South Coast, Eyrie Bowrie Homestead was built in 1866 for Roger Seccombe, the area's first dairy farmer. This historic property, recently refreshed for a new chapter, seamlessly marries the charm of the past with the comforts of the present.
As you step onto the property, the middle Victorian regency architecture commands attention, its timeless elegance enhanced by recent thoughtful touches. Antique chandeliers grace the sitting and living rooms, casting a warm glow on the feature stone walls, repositories of stories spanning generations. The home has been thoughtfully restored with perfect imperfections.
The front porch, a sanctuary for morning rituals, invites you to sip your cuppa while gazing upon breathtaking views of the coastline. Here, the fusion of historic charm and modern tranquility unfolds, setting the stage for a serene escape.
With a state of the art, fully appointed kitchen and large butlers pantry to match, this space is a foodies heaven. The arbour and dining area is the perfect place to frock up and enjoy a special dining experience. With thought-out dual living areas, these spaces can be enjoyed either collectively or separately.
Explore the bunkhouse, a cozy retreat with contemporary comforts including an ensuite with a shower and toilet, ideal for a family of 4.
Within the home, upstairs, three bedrooms offer distinct experiences. Two reveal captivating ocean views, inviting the soothing whispers of the sea into your slumber. The other opens to lush green landscape views, where nature's serenade lulls you into peaceful repose. The master bedroom features a large ensuite with a claw foot bath, the perfect place to relax and unwind. While the main bathroom can be shared between bedroom two and three.
Step outdoors, where the fireplace/pizza oven promise evenings under the stars filled with warmth and camaraderie.
Beyond the homestead, the charm of Milton village awaits, with its boutique shops, cafes, and art galleries just 500m away. Nature enthusiasts will find solace in nearby beaches and coastal walks, while the allure of year-round events promises an ever-changing tapestry of excitement.

This place is amazing… gorgeous renovation of a huge historic home .. really clever blend of old and new furnishings. Tonnes of space, massive views to the coast, big lush garden full of native birds. We had two families with teenage kids and it worked really well. Milton and surrounds beautiful and lots to do. Highly recommend.

Where We Escape Team
We had a great family reunion at Eyrie Bowrie Homestead. The outdoor fireplace area was as great gathering place, especially for the children. The steep stairs were challenging for the older members of our group but it was beneficial exercise. We have mislaid a pyjama top which may have been left under a pillow of the N-facing bedroom with ensuite.
It was a pleasure to host Helena , and we would love the opportunity to welcome you again when you're next in need of an escape to our beautiful Mollymook region.
