Neighborhood
We are located less than a 10 minute drive from Queenstown airport and the Frankton shopping area. There you will find large supermarkets, a full range of shops and many cafes. Queenstown is a 20 minute drive away. The Jacks Point golf course is only a short walk or minutes drive . There is over 35km of walking, hiking and cycling tracks right at the back door. It is less than 2 hours drive from Invercargill and is on the route from Queenstown to Milford Sound. And only few minutes drive to the base and entrance of the Remarkable’s ski field.
Originally farmland the Jacks Point Estate has been developed trying to keep the 3,000 acres in harmony with their original surroundings. From the planting of native fauna to the design of the houses this estate was 15 years in the planning. Jacks Point is home to the acclaimed 18 hole Championship Golf Course, it has extensive mountain bike and walking trails, tennis courts, playground, sports fields and not to forget the Clubhouse and Restaurant which sit on the picturesque Lake Tewa which is also available for fly fishing. Here in Jacks Point we embrace the lifestyle and enjoy nature.

Space
The top level is were bedrooms 1 & 2 are located each of these rooms has a Queen bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 sets of bunk beds and is locate on level 1 making the house perfect for couples or families. There is also a bathroom on each level.
Transit
It is recommended you have a car but not essential as there is a public bus that runs from Jack Point every hour. We are approx 10 minutes from the airport and the Frankton shopping district. Less than 5 minutes to the bottom carpark to The Remarkables Ski field and only 20 minutes into downtown Queenstown

House Rules
The house is to be left tidy with dishes done, rubbish in the big bins provided and all windows and doors locked.
No loud parties - please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum. There shall be no amplified sound played in the garden (Outdoor Living Area) between the hours of 8.00pm and 8.00am Use of the outdoor areas are not allowed after 10pm and before 7am (per council rules)
No smoking. There shall be no use of illegal substances or conduct of illegal activities at the property
Rubbish bins to be put out for collection on Thursday night for Friday collection. Refer to the in-house compendium for more details.
You must be 25 years or older to book this property and the person booking must stay.

This is our third time staying at The Woolshed. There were 8 of us down for a ski. Remarkables Ski field only 25mins away.
Lots of space and storage in the house for all of us. The views are absolutely stunning. Perfect location for summer and winter. We will be back.

Jacks Point is the perfect base if you are into walking, hiking, golfing, biking or skiing. With many tracks and an 18 hole championship golf course within the estate. Not to mention the turn off to The Remarkables Ski field is less than 8 minutes drive away - no more getting stuck in traffic at the end of the day.

The Woolshed is unique in its design from the bunk room, the stainless steel kitchen bench top to the urinal in the bathroom it feels like you are really an adventure holiday away from the everyday. Perfect for families with kids. The wood fire is an added bonus
