Linger Lakeside is the perfect lakeside retreat for those who enjoy the finer things. This impressive 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom beauty is nestled high above the lake and has been designed and built to capture the most incredible lake and mountain views.

Newly renovated throughout, with a large entertainers kitchen, spacious living areas, cedar hot tub and deep balcony which has your own private walkway access from the house to the lake-front below.

Spacious, modern, elegant, peaceful and inviting. The warm and calming atmosphere will have you feeling at home right away.
Located close to town centre – and very close to the lake – Everything that Taupo has to offer is at your finger tips.
It’s impossible to put into words how beautiful this property is – so come and see for yourself. We know you will want to return again and again!

Bedding configuration is:
Bedroom 1: 1x King bed (downstairs)
Bedroom 2: 1x King bed (downstairs)
Bedroom 3: 1x Super King Split (this can be made as 2x Singles) (upstairs)
Bedroom 4: 1x Super King Split (this can be made as 2x Singles) (upstairs)
Bedroom 5: 1x Super King (Master bedroom) (upstairs)
IMPORTANT – If you would like either of the 2 Super King Split beds made into Single beds, you must let us know at least 7 days prior to your arrival. Otherwise we may not be able to accommodate this.
If you do not advise of any bedding change, the beds will be made as 5x large beds.
Please ask us for recommendations for a private chef if this is something that you are interested in.

Clean, Great Views and Great Host!

My family and I visited Lake Taupo March 2024. we enjoy a clean and comfortable home when traveling. This Home absolutely met and exceeded our expectations. I had a beautiful view and location was excellent. All the contents of the home in the kitchen were in good working order overall we were very pleased with this home, and will definitely return in the future. Disappointing

My sincere hope is the owners of the property see this. The place is absolutely incredible and provide ample space and all the necessary luxuries. The disappointing part is the professionalism and extremely poor communication from the property management group. The place as its states accommodates 10 people and we were a family of 4 traveling back from the USA to spend some time in NZ. Two days prior to the arrival I messaged the property management company to let them know i would be adding two people to the booking. I received a response on the day of check in that there would be an additional charge of $68 per person / night. After paying a premium for a very large place I did not expect this however I paid the extra amount. I then notified the property management that the folks we were expecting did not turn up. In hindsight we probably did not need to state that we were expecting additional guests however thought this to be the right thing to do and I would expect the same. What I did not expect after notifying the property management company was the flippant, rude responses I received (only received a response after stating i would leave negative feedback with all the facts and messages). After notifying them that the guests did not turn up they simply ignored my questions about the refund for the additional amount I paid and eventually said they simply treated it as a cancelation (yet we were in the place and paying on top of the high seasonal amount). Not the customer service one would expect to be associated with such a gorgeous place.

The additional guests were added well ahead of arrival, and it was not until a couple of days after checkout that the guest messaged us to say that the 2 extra guests did not stay. As per our terms and conditions, we do not offer a refund for a decrease in guest numbers 14 days prior to arrival. You cannot expect to advise after departure that your plans have changed, and expect a refund.

Taupo trip

We had a friends catch up at this beautiful home for a couple of nights and it was just perfect. A wonderful location for lake walks and runs, along with tranquil views to relax to and plenty of space to spread out. Thank you.

Amazing Space - perfect retreat

As advertised- right on the lake and spectacular. Amazing weekend space and ideal for those who like to mix up a little self catering etc with exploring area. We will be back!!
