This house truly has it all . . . Lets start with the panoramic lake and mountain views. – If you are after the total Taupo experience the outlook won’t get much better than this.
But there is even more to this house than the incredible sunsets that you will be treated to on a clear evening. Step inside to a fully self-contained brand new kitchen, dining and lounge area. All of which opens seamlessly out onto the large sun soaked front deck. Downstairs you will find a further two bedrooms, rumpus room with a second TV, bathroom and laundry.
And I am sure you won’t see the kids until they are hungry, they will be busy mastering new tricks on the in ground Olympic sized trampoline, or they could be immersed in imaginary play in the purpose built playhouse that is tucked away in the bushes, or riding the skate ramp beneath the deck. The options are unlimited.
If relaxing is on the agenda you can choose from the front deck or move downstairs to the alfresco patio area, light the outdoor fire and keep the Vino flowing. The spa pool is an added bonus to enjoy after a day on the slopes or getting out and about in Taupo.
The house is located just a short walk to the lake, local fish n chip shop and the popular Mole & Chicken restaurant & bar.

Enjoyed our stay at Hilltop, great for young children, and bedrooms were convenience for joint family stay. Issue with access to property was solved quickly.
Great property for a mixed age group. The children loved the 'cubby' and the trampoline.Accommodated us all despite having to be inside most of the time due to bad weather.Very clean and well provisioned with plenty of serving dishes, cutlery and plates etcWould certainly recommend
This was a great place for our family holiday and catered well for the four children in the party. We loved the view from the deck and generally found the house met everything we needed. The one disappointment was that I left some clothing behind accidentally and have not been able to get it back despite explaining the situation to the accommodation service people the day after we left the house and leaving a message for the owner. I have found it somewhat frustrating not to have been able to make contact with either the booking service or the owner since then to follow up.
We had a family get-together to celebrate an 80th birthday and this proved the ideal location. Plenty of room for eight adults and a couple of children to be together but also to get some distance when needed (if you know what I mean).
The house is walking distance from the lake, but a little way out of town. Not that the distance mattered since the children were keen to spend time at the house. The two playhouses connected by a "secret" bush walk and bridge were a particular favourite.
All the facilities and equipment are good, even if you want to do some quite involved cooking.
We had a slight issue with the WiFi when we arrived, but the property managers were super helpful in getting this sorted quickly.
Overall, a great place to stay, everybody loved it.
The house was fabulous for the whole family. All 15 of us fitted in comfortably. There was pleanty of room for everyone. Enough bathrooms & toilets for all. Bathrooms both newly renovated to a high standard. Loved the big bath upstairs for the kids. Kitchen was large & highly functional. Again -enough room for all.
Bedrooms were great - kids loved bunks.
The outside. Another great place. As we had 2 toddlers there was pleanty of room to run around outside by the tramp, skate board ramp & play houses. The Spa too - a very nice treat for all during the middle of winter.
Would highly recommend to others at looking at this accommodation. Enjoy !
Amazing place to stay with kids, located well back from the road and lots of play equipment available (treehut, trampoline etc). Absolutely everything is provided, I can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t available to use. Lovely sunny deck, looking out over the lake views. We will stay again :)
lovely outlook, very nice clean and well presented property to stay at.
Great, the only thing we wished we had was some blinds in the lounge, living area to keep the sun out in the afternoon. It was very hot and we found it hard to keep comfortable, especially as we had small children (one being a six week old baby) who was suffering from the heat. otherwise it was a lovely place to stay with an awesome view
