We're walking distance from the world-class Tigh Na Mara Spa (voted #1 in Canada), Rathtrevor Beach and provincial park, numerous picturesque golf courses as well as family-friendly activities such as mini-golf. Also, we're sure you'll enjoy the fabled Black Goose Pub (built in 1926) only a 5 minute walk from us!
Our lovely home features two bedrooms on the main floor and one bedroom and den on the second floor plus a sofa-bed in living room, a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, with DVD and Nintendo Wii, washer & dryer, free wireless access, direct dial phones with free local calls. Live, work, play. Words I live by. We live in Vancouver, BC about an hour and 45 mins (by ferry) to Nanaimo. We fell in love with island life during our frequent visits to our son's young family in Nanaimo. The tranquility of Parksville, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, really drew us. We have recently purchased this three bedroom condo to get away from the concrete jungle. Having been a Senior Travel Consultant for the past 30 years for a major Canadian travel agency, I love to travel. My work has provided me the opportunity to see the world, something I am extremely grateful for. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, travelling, and spending time with my family over wine, laughs and my husband's delicious cooking.
