About this property

Beachfront, peaceful cosy cottage, beautiful sunrises, a relaxing escape.

Our enchanting beach front home is in a peaceful location, half way between Hastings and Napier. Lovely neighbours and very dog friendly. Wander through the garden to explore the beach, enjoy the sound of the waves or walk to the river-mouth. You can hire bikes nearby from coastal wine cycles, to visit the local wineries like Clear View and Elephant Hill or to Hygee the great cafe at Clifton. Or if you're feeling energetic, cycle along the coast to Napier. We are right by the cycle trail. If you wake early you'll enjoy beautiful sunrises. The house has a log burner if you would like a cosy fire. If you feel like sitting around an outdoor fire and maybe toasting marshmallows we also have a fire pit in the garden. Hawkes Bay is a beautiful place to explore.

Great place for two nights for 4 adults and a small dog!! Beautiful, quiet, clean....and the beds were so comfortable!! Loved being able to take advantage of the garden tomatoes and rocket!!! Good base to see the area and golf at the Cape. Wished we could have stayed longer!!!

Wonderful stay

We had a great time staying in Haumoana; lovely location with excellent bike trails & the sea right there. The house is super comfortable with everything you need and lots of garden to enjoy! We loved the worm farm for our food scraps. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our trip to Napier. The accommodation was really nice. The view and the sound of the ocean was great. Short walk and you can sit and enjoy the view. The house was clean. Fire place was working great for that cold nights.Enough wood. We really enjoyed our stay

Pillows need renewing, there were cockroaches, and a thorough clean would help. It was peacedul, beautiful sunrises, and some nice walks. The owners collections were interesting.
