I had a lovely and relaxing stay. The unit had everything you would need, and was clean, bright, and comfortable. The outside space was fenced and surrounded by trees; it was very private and I read several books out there. I slept very well, too! I will stay here again if I ever have the opportunity.
We had a lovely, comfortable stay. Everything was clean, the decor is lovely, and the kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway weekend.
This studio was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There is some car noise during the day but it is very quiet at night when sleeping. The host was very helpful with any questions we had.
Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. I’m so glad to have found this gem: Gorgeous location, clean, well-appointed and comfortable! Pam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I hope to be back one day.
We had a great time at Pam and Cam's place in Nanoose Bay. The place was perfect and clean, and felt nice and private too. Close to the beach and local attractions. Cam and Pam were super attentive and helpful! We would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!
Great stay at WILSEA Hideaway! Comfortable, clean, well thought-out suite. Had everything we needed. Loved the tranquil and private outside seating area. Hosts were responsive and available providing several personal touches. On the list to stay again and highly recommend.
I stayed 3 nights at the Hideaway on a motorcycle trip in a group of 3. This is a beautiful and well-planned space that made a great base for exploring the area. The interior had all the amenities we needed and the outside patio with shower and bbq was an awesome space to spend evenings eating and relaxing. Hosts were responsive and inviting - really impressed.Easy (driving) access to town and a nice bay nearby for relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!
Pam was an excellent host. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the place was spacious. The outdoor area was very cute and a nice extra area for us to spend time. Pam was so helpful and gave us some good advice for local hikes. She also helped us to kayak on the water nearby, which was fabulous. A fantastic stay!
Wonderful host clean bright and spacious
We will definitely be back to stay again in the future and Pam was the loveliest host so welcoming and you must do the outdoor shower so refreshing and perfect under the stars and private 💕
Thank you so much for the wonderful memories
Outstanding property! Lovely comfortable bed and beautiful linens. The high ceilings and huge windows give the space an airy feeling. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with staples. Great location, nestled in the trees and across from a farm, so I was serenaded by owls and cows. There is also a great beach just a 5-minute walk away. I chose this property for a creative retreat and it was utterly perfect. 5 stars all around.
Modern, clean property centrally located in the Parksville/Qualicum area of Vancouver Island.
The owner provided all the expected amenities, including a detailed guide book that included sites in the area and some restaurant recommendations.
All was good except the quality of the sheets, which we discussed with Pam already. The outdoor shower was a hit!

Hi, thank you for your comment about the sheets being too warm. My aim has been to keep our visitors warm and comfy while not taking into consideration that some people may find this uncomfortable. I hope that we can host you in the future.
Have a great summer

We enjoyed our stay at Wilsea Hideway, it was a very convenient stay with many items provided by the host like beach chairs and towel, the kitchen is very well equipped. The most enjoyable part is the outside area with the fire pit and the wonderful outdoor shower. Thank you Pam and Cam for all the attention you have for your guest.

About the host
Hosted by PAM WILSON
We moved to the island one month after we were married in 1989. Best choice we ever made and loved it here ever since. Seeing the ocean every day, wild life, camping, boating and enjoying life has made it an easy decision. Both Cam and I are semi retired and are looking forward to being hosts.
Why they chose this property
Nanoose is absolutely beautiful with hiking and biking trails, all year golfing, a wonderful ski mountain is an hour away. Our neighbourhood is very friendly and only a 8 minute walk to our local beach with beautiful views. Nanoose is conveniently located in between Nanaimo and Parksville so getting to the ferry and airports is very easy, but we're not in a city. We have fantastic breweries, pubs and restaurants within either a bicycle ride or short drive.
What makes this property unique
Our suite is completely new with a beautiful cozy and private garden area to sit in the evenings and enjoy the propane firepit or bbq up a meal and even hear the sealions. We also have an outdoor shower to enjoy.
