The first night I was cold and had to strip the bed for more blankets and I found yet another synthetic blanket. I told customer service via email. They were great and organized another synthetic blanket but at least I was warm.The Thurs I arrive back to my room and find a mess in my bathroom and my hand towel and bath mat on the floor knowing that I didn't leave or make a mess. I see a hole in the bath tiles and email them to ask what has happened? Customer service didn't know either. Next day I get an email saying I couldn't use my shower and that if I wanted to find another accommodation then that was OK to leave. No other options were given. I had another two nights left and no options. I tried to get some compensation but got no reply. The only reply I got was about lost keys as I gave them to my niece to take back to the lock box and she went swimming and enjoying Surfers. I contacted her and sorted it out. I again approached the idea of compensation for no shower and explained that I was an elderly woman who found it hard to get in to the bath. No reply. I haven't heard back from them yet or had my bond returned as yet. NO REPLY OR CALL. This was Q Stay. Where's the Q for Quality? Such a bummer.

The location was close to the beach and to all the action in Surfers Paradise...walking distance. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, although the tub faucet tended to drip. Also in the bathroom, 3 of the 4 lightbulbs were out, and the bathroom fan does not work and it dirty. The ceiling above the beds appeared to have lint/dust hanging probably due to adjacent vent. The fridge should probably have some sort of deodorizer in it.
