This property was an excellent place to stay in Mandeville. It was within walking distance to Lakefront park and several good restaurants. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this property and would love to stay again if we ever return to Mandeville.
We needed to house out of town friends/family for our baby shower and everything worked out well. My family enjoyed spending time at the lakefront and nearby restaurants.
I would give it 10 stars if I could. Beautiful place and the host was beyond fantastic. This didn’t feel like a short term rental, it felt like home. We look forward to our next stay.
This place was so cute and an amazing location!! We walked to all the restaurants and it was right next to the bike trail! We will def be back!!!

From the owner: "They were perfect guests, communicated well, and left my place in great shape! They are always welcome to come back and experience my Eclectic home overlooking the beautiful Lakefront and more food, music, and fun in our Little Paradise, only 30 minutes from New Orleans!"
If you're visiting Mandeville, stay here! Home has everything you need and is walking distance to the best restaurants! Owner is very helpful; property has great parking and an elevator!

Fantastic
Absolutely love this house and the hospitality is unmatched!!
Great visit. A wonderful, eclectic place that’s full of history. Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed exploring the area and all the wonderful locations to eat. The elevator was a lifesaver in transporting luggage as was the walk in shower. We return to the area often and plan to stay again.
Frankie is an awesome host! The property is super close to the lake and walking distance to lots of restaurants. Definitely recommend.

I thought long about this review especially after reading other reviews. I just cannot give it "5*" as the other reviewers did, that would be unfair to true 5* properties. Let me say that it's uber eclectic. That wows you when you first arrive. The elevator was a plus for my 80 yr old husband. After that you're left with an aging house (and furniture) that has that sorta dank smell. The front door had an 1" gap extending 6" to 8" up from threshold on door jamb. The windows are covered with drawstring blinds that would not rotate as the wands were all broken. If you wanted light (you needed it) you had to lift the whole heavy blind and have zero privacy. Interior lighting was dim and yellow... some lamps did not work. When I first sat on sofa it completely collapsed to the floor and my husband had to pull me up out of it. I called the owner (who was personable) and he blamed it on previous guests but nothing could be done as it was 04JUL weekend... that sofa was ancient and should have been replaced long before. The master shower had mold and the kitchen counter was sticky. We were invited by text prior to arrival to enjoy the level 1 patio. Unfortunately, there was a male neighbor there one night and the host (who stays in barn behind property) was there nightly. These things are just not 5* worthy. I will say that the bed was comfortable and the location was great! The host was nice enough, but, this is just not a 5* home. Location - yes, just not the home.

We're glad the elevator made things easier, the bed was comfortable, and the location worked out well. We do want to clarify a few things: the sofa's springs had been damaged by a previous guest and weren't noticed until this stay, and it was repaired right after checkout, with the leather sofa now back in great condition. What was seen in the shower is a clear plastic strip on the glass door reflecting off the black tile and may have appeared to look like mold, as there’s no mold in the shower. The front door gap has since been adjusted so it closes fully, and the missing blind wands have been replaced. We appreciate the detailed feedback and are always working to keep the home in top shape for future guests.
