This really is a stunning two bedroom (both en-suite) apartment set within the Waterfront at Cape Town. You can dine indoors or outdoors on the balcony which overlooks the canal. The granite surfaced kitchen has all mod-cons including washing machine, tumble drier, dish washer and iron/ironing board etc.

There is both a lift and stairs, and secure parking. The apartment has TV with Sky (DSTV), WiFi, Smart TV. We use the finest bed linen and each quality bathroom has both bath and large shower. You are given a pass on arrival for access. Just ten minutes stroll will take you to the myriad of restaurants and shops within the V & A.

Outstanding property in the super safe and convenient Waterfront development.Close to shops, bars, restaurants.Secure, gated, safe, quiet.The property has a large lounge, two large double bedrooms, a kitchen with washer/drier etc.Large and sun facing balcony. We stayed in this lovely apartment for our 2 week visit to Cape Town. The apartment was very comfortable for two couples. It was well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The manager was incredibly responsive. We had a problem with the washer, which she quickly got sorted. The location was perfect. It is an easy walk to the waterfront and easy to get an Uber to go to other parts of the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and wonderful spacious rooms. We loved it.
We were so happy to stay here, the kitchen was well appointed, the apartment was clean, the check in was smooth. The complex is nothing short of spectacular, a serene oasis in the heart of an amazing city!
We had a great stay in this apartment. It was close to all the amenities of the waterfront, very safe to move about especially at night. The apartment had everything we needed snd would recommend anybody to stay here
We have booked this apartment a few times as the location is second to none and the apartment has everything you need for a luxury holiday in Cape Town..
The property was even better than described. Perfect location for shopping and restaurants. Accommodation for power shedding worked well so still had internet. Place was very clean and had nice glassware and dishes. Would recommend and plan on using the next time we visit Cape Town.
This apartment was everything we expected. Great location, safe area, and top-notch amenities. Trish is a terrific host.

Very comfortable place in a delightful location
Modern well-equipped flat, perfect for two couples. An easy walk to V&A shops and mall. Great security, very attractive grounds, superb housekeeping services. Would definitely stay there again.
Only problems (1) had to ask for arrival instructions (but Trish provided them quickly when we did) and (2) we did not find operating instructions for the appliances (not sure we got the best use of laundry facilities).

Lovely, Spacious Apartment, Perfect Location
Extra spacious, clean, heaps of storage, big terrace with nice outlook, 5 minute walk to All the restaurants, supermarkets and activities of the V&A Waterfront, very tight security throughout.
Only suggestion for improvement would be to keep a few basic staples in the apt like most other places do nowadays, such as salt, pepper, oil, etc , Otherwise a great apt and highly recommended.
Great apartment, very spacious and clean. Couldn’t be in a better and more secure place for the waterfront. Completely relaxing and quiet at night. 5 minutes walk to all amenities and would definitely recommend this apartment. Owner very responsive and helpful. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Great location and fabulous apartment a few minutes from the V&A wayerfront
Lovely complex and very helpful staff. The location is excellent for the waterfront, Robben Island and all the local attractions. The apartment was extremely comfortable for our family and having daily housekeeping service was great. The only thing worth improving is the internet service which did not work well at all. However, they did not charge us for that. Overall, highly recommended and we would stay here again!!!
Highly recommend! We came from the U.S. and spent 11 nights at this wonderful property. It met our needs in every way- location was ideal on a canal within easy 7-9 minute walk to the vibrant V and A Waterfront. The amenities and layout of the apartment are perfect. We found it to be super clean with excellent housekeeping that we used every other day. The development is very safe with very friendly and accommodating reception staff. Trish, the owner was very responsive and helpful.We had an evening flight back to the US. The reception staff gave us cards to use for the day following checkout so we could leave our bags with them and use health club to shower and change before leaving for the airport at 6:30 PM. There is also an area closer to reception for the same.We shopped at Pick and Pay and Woolworth’s at The Waterfront and found everything we needed at very reasonable prices. We ate most lunches and dinners out and found the restaurants to be excellent with generous servings - the strength of the US dollar really helped.By U.S, European, UK standards, Uber is ridiculously inexpensive. We rented a car for 6 days which gave us a great deal of flexibility but probably not necessary given how easy Uber was.We fell in love with the sheer beauty of Cape Town…. It’s obvious that they work hard to keep the tourism trade healthy. Do not hesitate in booking this property. It’s perfect in every way and will make your stay in Cape Town easy and super comfortable.

Great location
This apartment is in such a good location. Easy walk to the V&A Waterfront and into the city.
The apartment has all the amentities you need and was very comfortable. Includes a washing machine and dryer. The bathrooms were huge and included nice toiletries.
The secure parking was right next to the apartment on the same floor which was handy.
We used the pool just out front and was just the right size for a quick dip to cool off.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and stayed back late to wait for us to check in, they then personally showed us around the apartment. All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful.
All was as advertised with one important exception, my second parking bay had a car illegally parked in it, as per a sticker placed on its windshield, security was aware of it but could do nothing about it. If a vacation apartment is listed and paid for with two parking bays then it should have two available.
Everything else was excellent and the apartment could not be better placed with regard to location
The daily maid service was as good as it could be and beyond the parking bay issue, I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment and when next in Capetown book it again

Convenience, Security and Spaciousness
We are a family of 4 that stayed in this apartment for 5 nights in April 2010.
The booking process was very smooth and the arrival information given by the owners and the local management company was perfect.
The apartment is part of the Waterfront development and is therefore close to lots of shops, restaurants, hotels and the Cape Town aquarium. The development is also very secure with underground parking and manned entry points.
The apartment itself is very spacious and ideal for a family travelling with small children. There are all the facilities you could need including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The childrens channels on the satellite TV were particularly popular with our small kids who woke up early each morning.
The only downside to the apartment is that the Waterfront is not the most picturesque part of Cape Town. However the convenience, security and spaciousness of this accommodation was ideal for us and made for the perfect place to base ourselves in Cape Town.
The location of this apartment is very nice for exploring the V&A Waterfront and was an easy 10-15 minute Uber ride to other areas of the city we wanted to explore. The apartment had two well appointed bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathrooms which worked well for two friends traveling together. South Africa is currently experiencing daily power outages so it was very appreciated that the apartment was outfitted with a small generator to power the wifi and some lighting. (A quick note about the wifi -- I didn't have any trouble with it, but my travel partner found the connection finicky in the bedroom he was using). It may be helpful for travelers to be aware that the check-in process involved a couple of steps and was a bit longer than I'm accustomed to (first check-in is at the main office and then there's a second check-in at a different security office to have photos taken & provided keys. There was a larger group ahead of us for the check-in steps so in total it took about 30 minutes which felt like a lot after 20+ hours of flying time and dragging luggage from one office to the next). Although we didn't use the kitchen facilities, it appeared well appointed. There is a washer & dryer that we made use of and was a great convenience since we were traveling for 3 weeks (just make sure to plan around the power outage schedule). Communication with the host was easy & timely. Overall, it was a very lovely apartment, the listing photos and description are accurate, and the value was very good. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Cape Town.

Perfect Condo, best location!
Thank-you so much Trish and Steve for sharing your condo with us! It was a little difficult to chose a property so far from home and online, but Trish and Steve were so helpful and accommodating with all my questions. It was our first time to Cape Town and so far from home, but it was so worth the long journey! This condo is is very nice, clean, modern, spacious and has everything you need. It was perfect for our family of 4 adults. It is extremely quiet, but a short walk to all the action at the V&A. The view is so beautiful and peaceful, we really enjoyed the balcony and saw the fireworks on New Years Eve from it! You will not be disappointed renting this apartment. The parking for our car wasa perfect location, just outside the entrance to the unit which is a definite plus! It's very safe and secure with 24hr security guards. Excellent service from housekeeping and Village and Life staff! They even arranged for groceries to be there as we arrived very late at night. I just emailed them a list and paid on checkout. Wifi arranged via front desk, very reasonable rates. No local phone or landline which wasnt a problem... we bought a global calling card (for landline) and South African Vodacom SIM cards for our mobile phones (buy both at Pick-n-Pay at V&A Mall) which were very inexpensive especially for local calls. I could go on and on. One of our favorites was the new food markets they have at the V&A a must do.(there just 3 weeks) It has fresh local foods and all kinds of international foods, very inexpensive on 2 levels in a beautiful brick building. We ate lunch here almost every day. Red shed and Greenmarket Square in town for local African crafts, Bascule (gorgeous view of Table Mountain) at Cape Grace Hotel was our favorite hangout for drinks or tapas for dinner. Vista Bar at the One and Only for drinks and appetizers what a beautiful view! We will try to get back here again one day! Thanks again Trish and Steve! We spent a week here, using it as a base to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas. The apartment and area is very safe and secure, with underground parking. The apartment was well set up with everything we needed for a week’s stay with high quality appliances and a well stocked kitchen. We ate breakfast every day on the balcony. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants and shops on the waterfront and easily got Ubers to Tabke Mountain and Bo Kaap. The Quarterdeck pool was particularly nice.
Excellent apartment. Easy walk to the V&A waterfront. Checkin process was so easy as was checkout, they will look after your luggage if you have a late flight. We’ll be back ❤️
We fell in love with Cape Town when we first visited in 2000 and the Waterfront apartments were being built. We were fortunate to buy one in Ellesmere, and we find the location perfect.
