Welcome to our beautiful five bedroom home with gorgeous views of the valley. Our house is the perfect place for families to come and relax in this lower part of the Mainland. We have taken excellent care of our charming home and recently added new furnishings. My house is situated in a prime location, offering easy access to local attractions and amenities. Our home is a perfect hub spot to enjoy the local attractions or just enjoy a home away from home. We look forward to hosting you soon!

The house was a good size and owners were very helpful with our concerns. Unfortunately cleanliness was not ideal and the lower level smelled musty and we couldn’t stay down there. Luckily we only needed the top floor. We had an issue with something and the owners were right on top of helping us. Lack of bathroom towels and washcloths but kitchen was well stocked with items we needed for cooking. Overall not a great stay but not terrible either.

This house was perfect for our large extended family. Lovely neighbourhood and close to everything we needed. House is older, if you’re looking for modern this is not the house for you. But if you want a large house with lots of space, bedrooms and comfortable seating for everyone this place is it. Dewmi had fantastic communication. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again.

This older property fitted for purpose; a large family group (10 persons) attending a wedding in Abbotsford and was situated in a lovely area on a prominent hill in the area. The outside: driveway, frontage and adjacent sheds/carport presented poorly compared with the neighbouring properties. Inside, the property was generally pleasant but dated. The sitting room/dining area suited the large group. The kitchen was functional but little was provided other than some tea and a few residual items left by previous tenents. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean but light bulbs needed replacing in certain locations. The main bedroom was very nice but the en-suite need a bulb replacing. The entrance door to the downstairs bedrooms was propped open with an old paint tin, which wasn't optimal.Service to the property, support was provided by the owner's father who lives 100m down the road. He is available to provide a taxi/uber on request.

Check in is not bad, got a door code and we're in. The problem is after we checked in. Found out kitchen sink faucet and pipe leaking and Host blamed us for the leaked. Everytime we use the kitchen sink, we need to check under the sink and dumped the water. Apparently Host aware that faucet already leaking the day before our arrival and did not get it fix before our arrival day and still blamed us for it and cost of repair.

The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is an older house, but with some renovations, especially to the basement suite. The view from the backyard was especially beautiful. Communication with Dew Mi was ok. There were some not so clear communication, but she was responsive. Our big surprise was the rules and language that was presented after we could no longer cancel. There were so many request such as putting all the dishes in the dishwasher and starting it before we leave or a 50 charge. Everything must be put back where they are found or another 150 charge. I don’t know if the added threats of extra charges were for real, especially if we accidentally misplace something into a different drawer in the kitchen, but the language was very off putting. We were also expected to strip the linens and put them, along with all the towels in the laundry room. And put all the garbage and recycling outside. The amount of clean up requested was surprising because there was also a cleaning fee. Although, the price for the home over the period we stayed was very reasonable. It was really the language used, which bothered us. As well, I don’t know if it was the vrbo website, but the description for number and types of beds in a couple of the rooms was not accurate. Overall, we had a good stay, although there can certainly be some improvements.

The home itself is spacious, with a great main living area for conversation and spending time together. It also has a beautiful view and a lot of potential. Unfortunately, our overall experience fell far short of what we expected from the photos and the price we paid.The property is quite run down and in need of maintenance. Several blinds were broken and actually blocked much of the beautiful view. The floors were chipped and in disrepair, the walls were marked up, and a towel rack in one of the bathrooms looked like it was about to fall off the wall.Our biggest concern, however, was the cleanliness. The bathrooms did not appear to have been properly cleaned, and the pillows on the beds were very old. We were uncomfortable enough with the condition of the bedding that no one slept under the sheets. Some of us slept on top of the beds and wrapped the pillows in a separate sheet.There was also a very strong fish-like smell in the unit for our entire three-day stay. It seemed as though something may have been spilled and not properly cleaned, because despite our efforts, we could not get the smell out. This could be a lovely rental with some maintenance, updating, and a much more thorough cleaning service. Unfortunately, in its current condition, it does not live up to the impression given by the listing photos or the price being charged.
