Clean, everything on hand and friendly, helpful host. We had our own parking space and an outdoor decked area with shade umbrella. Beautiful garden setting. The only downside was available space for luggage, but that wasn't a bigger. All round would definitely recommend

Thanks Steve for sharing your experience with us, and glad the covered parking was a bonus. Definitely a good thing when it’s frosty.

About the host

Host profile image
We're a friendly, easy-going couple who love to travel and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. Having spent many years exploring ourselves, we understand the joy of discovering new places and creating lasting memories, and we're delighted to share our little corner of Cambridge with fellow travellers.

We're also animal lovers. Our much-loved shy senior cat Cotton, is usually found happily snoozing somewhere around the front garden. Our family dog use to visit, however he's currently off enjoying his own long-term adventures with his boss!

Why they chose this property

We love calling Cambridge home. It's a beautiful, picturesque town that shines in every season and always offers something special to enjoy. Whether it's browsing the Farmers' Market, relaxing at a local café while watching the world go by, or bumping into familiar faces around town, Cambridge has a warm, friendly community that makes it feel just the right size.

It's also a safe and vibrant place, with fantastic walking and cycling trails to explore, beautiful parks and river paths, and a wonderful selection of cafés, restaurants, and boutique shops. There's always something happening, from community events to sporting occasions, making Cambridge a place we never tire of—and we hope you'll love it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Our place feels like home because it truly is one. We hope you'll feel safe, relaxed, and at peace during your stay, surrounded by the established garden we've lovingly nurtured over many years, with its abundance of fruit trees, flowering shrubs, and birdsong.

Your cabin is completely private, with your own sunny deck and garden area to enjoy. From midday through the afternoon, the space is bathed in sunshine—perfect for relaxing with a book, enjoying a coffee, or simply unwinding. While we're nearby if you need anything, your space is entirely your own.

We have wonderful neighbours and a peaceful neighbourhood where the calls of tūī and other native birds provide a beautiful soundtrack throughout the day. If you're looking for a quiet retreat where you can slow down, recharge, and enjoy a little slice of Cambridge, we think you'll feel right at home here.
