Very clean, wonderful hostesses, beautiful well maintained property. Comfortable beds, pillows and nice bed linens. Modern appliances, Highly recommend this property.Only negative, I wish our stay could have been longer!
Our family of 5, had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! There are so many things we loved about our stay. The personalized message, the coffee bar, the bunk beds, the bikes & helmets, the outdoor play set, the fire pit! Very quiet and peaceful location. We can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful property right around the corner from the beach. Great spot for a family with young kids. A lot of room for them to run around with a small outdoor playset. Inside was immaculate with a nice cozy feel. Overall an excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend.
Amazing spot. Loved the outdoor area with kids' play structure, fire pit and hammock. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the location was close to everything we wanted to do/visit. I just regret not booking for longer!
I wish I could give 10 stars for this property! We were honored to be the first guests and it’s hard to convey how blessed we felt to stay at this adorable cottage with it’s stunning view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets! We felt pampered with all the thoughtful amenities and enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!
We had an amazing time at Forest Shore Cottage! It's perfect for a family of 4, and we easily could have brought grandparents or recommend for two families of three. What was great? 1) location location location! We drove long distance to PEI, so being close to the bridge was super helpful. It's also very close to the middle of the island, so we were able to do lots of simple day trips to Charlottetown (45mins), Summerside (20 mins), Cavendish (40mins), Victoria (15mins) and up the north west coast. Really great access to the whole island! 2) quiet and peaceful. The cottage looks across a farmer's field to the ocean. While you're a short drive to everything, there's not much reason for other folks to come down the road. We'd see the occasional walker go by, maybe the odd car three or four times a day, but otherwise it's very quiet with just a small sheep farm down the road and potato and hay fields around the forest 3) great communication from our hosts. We had a few inane city-folk questions both before arriving and durrung our stay, and Pat and Lilla got back to us instantly on each one. 4) clean, convenient and well equipped. There's a kurig coffee maker, pots and pans, a nice, clean fridge, kettle, toaster, air fryer and bbq. Amazing outdoor space is also immaculately tended. The bathroom is clean and large with lots of cupboard space if you need it. Comfortable beds and linens. Internet and TV all worked well.5 stars, highly recommend!!!
