Spacious, modern house

The house was sleek, spacious, and clean with all of the newest gadgetry. The kitchen was beautifully stocked. The location was close to the boardwalk and downtown. I highly recommend this property - without reservation.

Dream week in Reho

I can’t say enough great things about this property and our overall experience. Pristine, modern and spacious with a large, refreshing pool for family fun. Well-stocked kitchen with all of the appliances, utensils, and touches of home that you’d look for. Outdoor foot bath and shower were a major help for “sand management.” Easy walk to beach, shops and dining. One of the circuits in the living room went out mid week but agent was prompt in advising how to handle. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful property but difficult owner

Beautiful property - but when we arrived, the grill was filthy and looked like it was never clean, the dishes in the cabinets were greasy, there was no hot water for the first 3 days of our stay and the pool filter kept malfunctioning making the pool occasionally unusable. Really nice place. And the property managers were really attentive. But the owner seems a little unprepared. And will nickel and dime you for minor cleaning despite the fact that there are no cleaning products in the house. . So make sure bring EVERYTHING and make sure you take video and pictures of the home when you leave To protect yourself. We didn’t do that and they tried to charge us $850 for a stain on the wood floors that was there when we got there

INITIAL EMAIL TO GUEST UPON DEPARTURE: I hope you made it home safely. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the house. Below are pictures of the house and the condition it was left in upon your departure. In addition to the extra cleaning (trash left on the floor in just about every room and the dishes not being put away), there were stains on the sofa and the rug. There was also an orange stain on the wood floors that the cleaners were not able to remove. Someone will be going to the house tomorrow to see if the stains can be removed. At this point, there will be a charge for the extra cleaning and the removal of the stains. Once I know what the charges will be, I will let you know. Sorry to have to send you this email, but the owner was quite disappointed and upset. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I will be in touch with you once I have more information. Thank you RESPONSE TO GUEST This house is a new $3 million property. Never has anyone left the house in the condition that it was left…. with trash on the floors in several of the rooms and trash on the tables and nightstands (including dirty utensil left on a nightstand). In addition there was a stain on the sofa ottoman and rug, and a stain on the hardwood floor. The cleaners had to spend additional time and effort cleaning and they tried to remove the stain on the floor, but it would not come out. As I stated in my description on VRBO when I withheld the deposit money, the cleaners charged an additional fee of $175 and the charge to remove the stain on the ottoman and the rug was $175. With regard to the stain on the hardwood floor, the floor company cannot get into property until October, they estimated $500 worse case to refinish the boards--3 trips plus sanding. Should the cost of the floors be less than $500, we will send guest a check back for the difference. We do not like to withhold money, but we do need to be reimbursed for costs and expenses to the property as a result of the guest stay. We did not take the full $1,000 deposit and we indicated that if the cost to repair the floors is less than $500, we will refund any difference.
