Great location, kid & dog friendly, just across the road from the dog friendly beach and a short walk from Bay Roots cafe. Rosetta was easy to communicate with and helpful. House was clean and the kitchen and laundry well equipped. Lots of dvd’s and books, and a dvd player that we couldn’t get to work. Internet is very poor and not functional so best to BYO data. Would have liked to use the BBQ but couldn’t because it was either out-of-order, out of gas or both. Beware, the lawn is full of bindii so is neither dog nor barefooted human-friendly. We’ve stayed before and would like to again.

Kids loved the seperate quartersAn older building, steel framed ...so a bit of outer rustClear information from host - very easy to deal with.We had a couple of issues with property....which was amended quicklyWould definitely stay againVery limited internet/data...no issue for us...but for those needing it...good to know

I paid for a seven-night stay; however, I was unable to remain at the property for more than one night due to its poor condition and associated health concerns.Upon opening the sliding door to the lounge area on arrival, there was an immediate and strong musky, closed-in odour. Within minutes, I experienced significant sinus irritation, a reaction I have not had for many years. This was clearly a health issue rather than a matter of personal comfort. The presence of spiders, cobwebs, and what appeared to be significant dust-mite contamination throughout the lounge further reinforced this concern. In addition, the bathroom floor was visibly dirty on arrival. As a direct result of these conditions, I was forced to leave the property the following morning, which was extremely disappointing given that the accommodation had been booked and paid for in full. The condition of the lounge furnishings strongly suggests they have not been professionally steam-cleaned for a considerable period. At a minimum, this should be standard practice prior to high-occupancy periods such as school holidays.I raised these concerns by email with Rosetta; however, my claims were dismissed without adequate consideration.Overall, the condition and quality of the house were poor and did not align with the price charged. The experience fell well below reasonable expectations, and I do not believe the property was presented in a fit or acceptable condition for paying guests.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. We're sorry we couldn't meet your expectations. However, we believe the experience of our many satisfied guests, including those who stayed immediately after you, better reflects the actual condition and value of the property. We hope the rest of your family enjoyed their stay at our house for the remainder of the week, and we're sorry your personal health sensitivities made it challenging for you to enjoy the family holiday.
