Check in instructions were not provided prior to check in time. The host did quickly reply when messaged. The house lost power and backup generator was not working. They were helpful and answered the phone but the generator never came on.Chairs on the patio were covered in bird poop. The grill was not clean, and there was a inflatable raft filled with water. The back patio was not very clean at all. Overall the house is awesome and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room a lot. The pool table was very nice. The beds and furniture were very comfortable.

We appreciate the feedback and are thrilled that you found the home awesome and comfortable, especially the hot tub, game room, and pool table. We apologize for the issues you experienced with check-in and the backup generator; we are working closely with Evolve and our electrician to ensure these processes and amenities are fully seamless moving forward. We have also coordinated with our cleaning team to ensure the back patio and outdoor amenities are thoroughly detailed between reservations, even in our rustic country setting. Thank you for helping us improve, and we hope to host you again!
We had an excellent stay, went skiing at Butternut, tubing at Bousquet, and celebrated New Years at the house. Tons for the kids to do, well stocked kitchen (no condiments tho so bring your own ketchup, etc). Home owner was very responsive. Would definitely book again.
We had an absolute blast staying here! The space is huge, with so many unique details to take in…it’s honestly the most unique house I’ve ever stayed in. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out, lounge, and hang out comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything I needed to cook for everyone, which made hosting so easy. The hot tub was an awesome addition, and the sunroom and TV area was our favorite spots to relax. The backyard also had tons of space, and the fire pit was perfect for winding down at night. Overall, this house was such a great place to eat, laugh, and truly enjoy each other’s company. We also checked out Roe Jan Brewing Company while we were there, highly recommend! The vibe was super chill, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great. The only small note is that while the beds were decent, a mattress pad would’ve made them a bit more comfortable. That said, it didn’t take away from our experience at all. I would absolutely stay here again. The owner was amazing, very friendly, responsive, and great to communicate with throughout our stay. SUCH a hidden gem!
A group of 10 friends (we are in out 40's) and I stayed here for a yearly gathering that we do. Every person was amazed at the rental. It was warm, clean, inviting and the kitchen jad everything that i needed to feed 10 people over the weekend. The game room was amazing and kept the group active indoors. It had a beautiful fireplace and wood stove. The adjacent room had a dining table, another wood stove and some very thoughtful items in a welcome basket. Next to that was the kitchen/living room with some really neat stuff on the wall to explore. At the end of the house on the 1st level is a great room with a hottub. While some of the group enjoyed that, the most amazing aspect was the glass that filled the walls and ceilings. You can watch the sunrise, sunset, and the stars in this room. There is a basement with sleeping areas/beds as well as a bathroom and there is a 2nd floor with a room with 2 beds and a bathroom.Outdoors was amazing. The property sits next to a ridge that offered us some great hiking and exploring. As the person who cooks for the gang, i was curious if the grill would be sufficient for our purposes. It did not disappoint. Overall, I am very hesitant about writing this review because the less people that know about it, the less people I have to compete with to book it again next year for our group.
