Apart from an initial problem locating the property, we were blown away by what lay behind the high wall and welcoming gate with the pretty greenery and fairy lights. A beautifully restored charming three level cottage, housing a modern and functional kitchen, a tiny but warm and cosy living room and three very comfortable bedrooms, with an en-suite for one and a bathroom adjacent to another. The B & B was an easy walk to the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the City. Situated in a picturesque part of The Rocks, it was just a short walk as well to the Walsh Bay wharves and many great bars and restaurants.
We would not hesitate to stay here again, it was a fabulous introduction for our international first time visitors to Sydney who also gave the cottage 5 out of 5!
Thenkyou to our host Veronica.
Great views of the ocean from the living room on the 8th floor. Kitchen facilities are good and the lounge room is comfortable. The bedroom, which is fairly large, is up a shoret flight of stairs at the rear and is quiet. Bathroom is rather small but a workable space for showering. The building itself has wide corridors and the 8th floor is easy to reach , despite the slowness of the lifts. Location is perfect, and there is nothing to detract from the enjoyment of staying at 807.
