What a beautiful part of Australia. Thank you Bev for welcoming us into your home. We (family of 5), had a great time. Everything was so easy.
Each of my three kids had their own room (luxury!) and having the two bathrooms made life a lot easier than having just one.
The WiFi was extremely appreciated (I roll my eyes, how could they live without it) during the evenings, after days full of (WiFi-less) adventure.
I recommend the nearby Protestor's Falls, the Bexhill Open Air Cathedral, a visit to Nimbin, (stop at the Tuc Shop on the way, beautiful coffee from a spectacular Dunoon location), a swim at Brunswick Heads and all the joys Byron Bay has to offer.
Be prepared, the local roads are narrow and a bit scary, and the locals know them well. So if you're planning on day tripping, be prepared to pull over a lot and let the locals drive past.
Being in the hills, the scenery is breath-taking. The local letterboxes are a treat. Lismore is great for groceries and all those unused railway bridges along the way are spectacular.
A truly relaxing location.
Thank you :)
Fabulous rural family home, amazing to be able to bring our golden retriever, who adored the gardens. Stunning location and convenient for Byron and surrounding area. Very well stocked house. Thank you so much.
