If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all, this is the place for you. We booked here for our family of five (3 kids- 8,6,3yo)
There’s nothing to do in Ryanston so you do have to drive to get out and about. It was a good base for us,we did inverloch, Phillip island, Corinella/coronation bay as well as some lovely little country towns like Loch and Korumburra that we had never been to before. Maru is a great little zoo close by where you can actually get up close and feed the roos. I wouldn’t bother with the koala conservation park...this is way better! Kids loved it. They also have a cool mini golf course.
They have yummy scones and coffee as well as fresh dairy you can buy from the farm in Glen Forbes on Bass hwy. Overall the house is a great base to explore this part of Victoria.
The house itself was cosy and neat with a lovely panaromic view from the living room. It has everything you need. There’s a little retreat with wii games and a tv close to the house which the boys loved and meant we all had some space. Thank you Donna for your hospitality.
