This property has obviously been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, it had everything you needed in a magic little village the shop around the corner, just perfect

Although it is a little out of the way it was easy to find. The facilities were first rate with a very well appointed kitchen. If it was quiet serenity you are looking for then the barn is perfect.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Chapel. Good central location for day trips to Bath, Bristol and Cardiff, Wales. Well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable beds and quality linen. The village is gorgeous too!

A great property in a super location. The conversion of old farm buildings has been lovingly done by the owners who have kept the character whilst creating a comfortable and contemporary holiday space. Hosts Katrina and Huw went out of their way to help make our stay enjoyable whilst also giving us space and privacy. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and peaceful property. Would recommend.

My husband & I had a wonderful seven night stay at the delightful Herons Nest. It is in such a picturesque location & everything one could want for in a country cottage. Nothing was too much trouble for Hillary (the owner ) who made our stay just perfect & we loved every minute of being there. We even had deer out in the surrounding fields, which was lovely to see as we were having breakfast at the large kitchen window. We would love to return one day & highly recommend it. A great place to stay for a few days to just relax and take in the surrounding landscape. Some fantastic vistas to the medieval church and beyond and even distant views to one of the white chalk horses. A very historical area. Thanks Tom for your hospitality!

One of the nicest properties we have stayed at in our ten years of international travel. The hosts, Sarah and Peter were a delight to deal with and their dog, Tara was an added bonus. Comfortable bed, very functional kitchen, good shower and beautiful gardens set in 2 acres with outstanding views from all around. A very unusual property in that it was originally a church and Sarah and Peter have made it a labour of love to turn it into a family home, with a self contained apartment to rent. It is close to many interesting places to visit and Sarah and Peter have lots of suggestions for things to do . Just a magical property and if you get the opportunity to book do so.
