I had a wonderful time in Avignon. A large part of the reason was staying in this classic building in an area that is close to everything, yet feels like a little homely precinct (with few tourists)that you're part of. My room was very cosy as a solo traveller. As to host Fabienne, I can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity. We had a wonderful time staying here. Everything is as pictured and very clean. Plenty of space for the four of us. This town is in a good area to explore many villages in Provence. The only suggestion is that check in could be a little earlier than 4:30pm. Thank you Florence.

Superb property - beautifully restored and comfortable house in charming village - sixty second morning run to the great boulangerie. Owners and caretaker Paola very helpful. Close to so many lovely towns and villages - we spent a perfect week in January - can't recommend it enough. We hope to return.

Emilie went above and beyond to supply us with local information. She was a kind and approachable host. The location was superb and the pool was enjoyed especially by our 4 and 5 year olds. A quiet, clean and stylish retreat I would happily recommend.

Charming converted farmhouse set in large well manicured gardens with a very inviting swimming pool. A truly delightful property. Ghislaine was very welcoming and prepared magnificent meals served in the magical garden setting. We wanted to take her home wth us. Ghislaine also suggested local itineraries for us. We cannot speak highly enough of Ghislaine, her property, her cooking, her helpfulness.

We spent a very happy week at the delightful Mas Le Macaju in the first week of July. This is a property that will particularly suit a family with young children, looking for somewhere more contemporary than rustic, comfortable, safe and within easy reach of the towns and villages on the western edge of Provence, 20 minutes from Avignon and about an hour to the airport in Marseille. The owner, Fabien, speaks heavily-accented French and barely any English but is very accommodating and responsive, and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the property. The house was spotlessly clean and the facilities excellent - a beautiful pool, a lovely shaded outdoor bbq/dining area, a modern laundry and well-equipped kitchen. Lounging by the pool, reading a good book and drinking copious quantities of rose was no hardship here!
