155 Sunbeach Holiday village California nr Gt Yarmouth

Come and stay in our clean, comfortable and well equipped holiday chalet in Sunbeach, California, Scratby, near Great Yarmouth located within a short walk to a dog & family friendly beach, close to local amenities.

Our freshly refurbished, south facing, 2 bed chalet sleeps 4 persons
The Kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, we provide cleaning products including washing up liquid and kitchen roll for our guests usage.
The open plan lounge/diner has 2 armchairs and 1 x 2 seater settee and dining table that seats 4.
We have 1 full size double and one twin bedroom, the bedrooms have wall mounted heaters for those chillier nights, there is a travel cot for those who need it, beds will be made up for your arrival but please note we do not provide bedding for the travel cot.
The bathroom is fitted with an electric shower over the bath.
The chalet is located within 400 yards of the beach and close to lovely cliff top walks - excellent for those of you who have 4 legged friends with you on holiday. On the site there is a bar, club house and indoor swimming pool (entrance fee applies).
We welcome well behaved dogs allowed at no extra charge!
Electricity is supplied by means of a £1 coin operated meter with the tariff being set by the site owner.

On site amenities include an indoor heated swimming pool (entrance fee applies ) open April- Sept, Club Oasis family entertainment venue(entrance fee applies), Dutchys Taven with live acts (family pub), restaurants, amusements , launderette and shops. There is a bus stop close by which will take you to Gt Yarmouth and local villages should you choose to leave the car at home. Also a short walk from the chalet is the California Tavern with traditional food and beer garden. In Scratby village there are tea rooms, gift shops, fish and chips and bakers. There is also a weekly car boot sale in the summer and a craft and farmers market once a month.
The seaside resorts of Hemsby and Great Yarmouth with its 15 miles of sandy beaches and its golden mile of attractions are only a short drive away from the holiday park. Attractions include:Sea Life Centre, Britainnia Pier and its entertainment, Joyland, The Pleasure Beach, Merrivale Model Village, Time and Tide Museum, plus many places to eat and shop!
Norfolk is famous for the Norfolk Broads. Enjoy a drive through the lovely Broadland villages or perhaps hire a boat for a few hours picnic cruise. Take a trip to a National Trust property or visit the charming seaside towns along the coast. For more culture and for good shopping Norwich is worth a visit.

The perfect place for a beach holiday

The chalet at 155 Sunbeach was brilliant. Very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Very convenient for the beach and camp facilities. Exactly what we needed for our week away.

A lovely stay

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely and exceptionally clean chalet. It had everything we needed. The location was good-a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach, a couple of pubs, cafes, shops, take aways and a short drive to Great Yarmouth. It was the perfect base to explore Norfolk. Communication with the host was clear and well detailed. Thank you!

Message while traveling to sight to say chalet would be ready 3 hours early, Nice surprise. Chalet beautifully clean and very well equipped. Easy to follow instructions for all amenities. Had a great week, weather amazing. Good situation, as easy to get to lots of different places. Although chalet close to road and on site pub, there was very little noise disturbance. Would definitely recommend.

The heater in the double bedroom wouldn’t switch on we couldn’t check the plug behind the bed because I am a pensioner and my sister is disabled The toaster had crumbs in We didn’t like paying for the electricity but we didn’t use as much as we thought we would my sister stayed on the other side and didn’t pay for her electricity. It was just stressful for my family thinking the electric was running out All in all the property is a nice property and we enjoyed our stay

Nice little find

Had a nice short break over the bank holiday with the kids. Up-on confirmation of booking, Dave and Claire promptly sent details on how to access the property getting there and general etiquette. The description and photo’s portray a fair view of the place and surrounding area. For me the only slight downside of the place was it’s proximity to Dutchys bar ( literally just behind the place) and the noise of the bands playing over the 3 nights was pretty loud. Having said that if I hadn’t had 2 young kids with me I’d probably be in there as one night was a ska and reggae night and another was a UB40 tribute. Maybe next time I won’t take them!!

Easter egg hunt.

What a lovely chalet, clean, modern, and close to all amenities...everything was there, even an Easter Egg...that was a nice surprise, as my grandson, who is autistic, was asking all they way down about an Easter egg hunt...would recommend it..neighbours were great also....if there was anything to say it was no WiFi, for me thankfully, and maybe the TV could have been bigger.. grandson choice....thanks again

Very easy to book the holiday. We enjoyed our stay in the chalet which was very cosy and clean. We had everything we needed in the chalet and it is in a prime position for all amenities. We will keep the details for next season.
