Es Blau: Cosy villa in the southern coast of Menorca

Villa set in a quiet area. We love its feeling of simplicity in harmony with the easygoing life-style of the island. Everything is at hand while you "unplug" and relax in your private corner.

The main living area shares kitchen, dining and a sitting room that extends into the sunroom. A small corridor gives way to the bathroom and three bedrooms.

The villa has been renovated in Minorquin style: all white and with built-in furniture —a home full of light.

We are renting it for the first time since we love the area. We live right across the street so we are at your disposal for anything you may need.

Let me tell you a bit about the house. The entrance to the house is via low rise stairs that lead from the private parking area to the front terrace with private pool with sun loungers and a shaded dining area right by the built-in barbeque perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation.
This area is not fenced off but we do have a gate that closes the back patio area and isolates it from the pool if you happen to need it. There is an outdoor shower to cool you off or help you get rid of the beach sand.

As you can see in the pictures, the entrance door opens to a dining area with open fully equipped kitchen and two separate sitting areas with comfortable sofas and with glass sliding doors that lead to the front terrace and pool area.

The kitchen is equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, juice maker, expresso and drip coffee machine, blender, toaster and pots and pans and dishes and cutlery for ten.
Living area —two sofas with cushions— and tv area with flat screen tv, with usb and chromecast connection, music player and of course, wifi connection.

A small corridor leads to the shower room and the three bedrooms, one double and two twin bedrooms.

The bedrooms have ceiling fans, opaque blinds and exterior venetian blinds for the breeze that allow the breeze to flow. All have built-in wardrobes and full body mirrors.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a glass partition. It's bright and sunny thanks to a skylight with view to the sky.

A back patio offers a shaded sitting area and the laundry room. A staircase leads to a solarium terrace with sun loungers to relax and enjoy the view during the day and the starry sky at night.

AVAILABILITY

The price is for the use of the whole villa with a private pool. If the dates or times are not convenient, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Since it is a family holiday villa several weeks throughout the year are not available due to family use. However, do not hesitate to contact us since we are flexible with dates.

Do you need help in your kayaking, bicycling, hiking holidays on the island? Contact us if we can be of any help.

We are at your disposal 24/24 since we live across the street. We'll be happy to help you in anything you may need.

In case of an emergency, we provide personal interpreting services in person and over the phone.

Two road bikes are available for you to enjoy Menorca's side roads and a double kayak to explore the southern coast of the island, its coves and the caves at the bottom of high cliffs.

An elliptical bike on the back terrace is ready for you in case you feel up to some outdoor workout.

LOCATION

We rent this villa, across the street from ours, because we love the area : quiet and near to a white sandy beach where we can practice our hobbies, snorkelling and kayaking, and because it's a stopover in the Camí de Cavalls trail, a 185 kilometre dirt trail that circles the entire coast of Menorca —we are between stages 16 & 17.

A 10' walk takes you down to the main plaza, with all the basic services such as doctor, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, rent-a-cars....

And 15' away, the child-friendly white sandy beach awaits you, with shallow water a long way out and with facilities such as lifeguards, toilets, sun lounge, sunshade and kayak rental... And a couple of outdoor terrace bars and a big free parking space close by.
We have to mention, though, the steep hill on the way back since we are at the top of the cliffs that surround the sheltered cove.

There is a private parking space at the entrance to the villa.

There is also a local bus service to the main bus station in Mahon where you can take several buses to the rest of the island.

We are 15' away by car to the airport and 20' away to the capital, Mahon and its harbour.
