We had a lovely few days at Bluebell cottage.

We had a lovely few days at Bluebell cottage. A lovely friendly welcome and a great welcome pack. We took our dog with us and there were essentials for him too. We had some fabulous coastal walks despite the weather. It was always lovely and warm and cosy when we got back to the cottage. Thank you for a very lovely break x Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A cosy well appointed cottage in a lovely rural location.

A cosy well appointed cottage in a lovely rural location. Ideal for a couple looking for a quiet holiday away from the crowds. The very friendly owners went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible, starting off with a very generous welcome pack. The cottage had all the amenities you needed especially a king size bed, fabulous shower and handy dishwasher. The downside for us was the remote location meaning we had to drive up narrow lanes to get anywhere and the nearest town Mevagissy was some 5 miles away, a bit of a mission if you went out for the evening. The nearest pub 'The Crown' was around a mile away, not easily walkable, which provided average food from a small menu. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but would have preferred a more accessible location. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A very enjoyable weeks stay even with adverse October Cornish weather The owners Ayshea and Darren made us welcome from the start with an unexpected but very welcome food pack of all the essentials and even non essentials like scones, jam and clotted cream! Bluebell was presented immaculate being clean, modern but still cosy and very well equipped for the two of us The location is within easy, quick drives to picturesque places such as Mevagissey and Charlestown harbours and we had a fantastic coastal walk between Hemmick and Porthluney Cove beaches and it is only a 12 minute drive to the lost gardens of Heligan We would highly recommend a stay at Bluebell Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Nicely located as we were seeking the peace and quiet after a crazy few months for both of us during the COVID-19 pandemic. Owners were lovely and considerate. Everything you could need was available within the property and not too far to all the places we wished to visit. Provided us with the rest and relaxation we had craved over recent months. Would definitely go back  Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A fab little place to stay on holiday.

A fab little place to stay on holiday. Great location for Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Caerhays beach is close by and is a lovely sandy cove. The cottage is all new and lovely. Big fridge/freezer and all the basic kitchen equipment you need. Comfy bed and lovely big bath. The couple who run the cottage were fantastic and very kind to us. Lovely ‘bijou cottage’ set in an idyllic valley setting.

Lovely ‘bijou cottage’ set in an idyllic valley setting. The front room looks out across the valley, the bedroom out over the well kept and loved garden The accommodation has been recently refurbished, and benefits from all mod cons, and has everything a couple could need for a romantic weekend away or longer stay visiting Cornwall. All in all can’t recommend it highly enough, Ayshea & Darren are very welcoming, easy to talk and happy to help. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Clean & comfortable cottage with good parking area.

Clean & comfortable cottage with good parking area. Well run by very pleasant family. Facilities & equipment were very good except the cooker was not the easiest to use, over complicated. Excellent fridge/freezer. Well positioned for Eden project & Lost Gardens of Heligan. Would definitely recommend for a couple wanting to stay in that area.

Excellent cottage.

Excellent cottage. Two small gripes, some noise from the occupants who were in the cottage above us, (not excessive ) and drainage smell outside the cottage at times ( could not smell the drains inside) probably due to the location. A little difficult to locate at first, sat nav telling us to do a u-turn when on the correct road. Just follow the signs for the vineyard then you will find the cottage. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed. Very generous welcome pack. Good location for visiting places such as Eden Project, Charlestown ( where some scenes from Poldark were filmed.) ST Ives and Lost Gardens Of Heligan. Roads can be a little interesting, just drive carefully. Owners very nice and did not bother us, told us to let them know if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Having been in the hospitality and accommodation industry for many years Bluebell and our hosts score 10 out of 10 on every level. A great location to base yourself and explore this most beautiful part of Cornwall. The garden at Bluebell was a perfect place to relax in the sun after trips out. Bluebell is ideally sized and equipped for a couple, the welcome pack was a masterpiece everything you could possibly need and more! Thank you again for a very memorable and relaxing holiday, you all made us so very welcome.

Our hosts were really welcoming and helpful.

Our hosts were really welcoming and helpful. The welcome pack was much more than we had expected. The cottage was just right for two people and the garden was lovely. It was really relaxing and made an ideal base for exploring. It was spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need and we would certainly recommend it to anybody.
