Eider Cottage lies in the peaceful hamlet of Waren Mill on the edge of Budle Bay an area of outstanding natural beauty, a 10 minute walk to beach and less than 2 miles from Bamburgh village.
This quaint cosy cottage is well appointed with fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor.

The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower

Lovely cottage in a quiet area close to the coast

We had a lovely stay in this very well equipped and comfortable cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Situated in a quiet area within walking distance of Budle Bay, it was easy to get to many places on the coast and we enjoyed a lot of long walks admiring the beaches and scenery, visiting Lindisfarne and even taking a train from Berwick to Edinburgh for the day! We would definitely recommend staying here if you like the quiet countryside in a comfortable self catering cottage.

Lovely coastal family break

Eider Cottage was clean and comfortable and a perfect base from which to explore the area. We had great days out in Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne and Low Newton-by-the-Sea - lots of beautiful beaches and wonderful wildlife. You need a car for most excursions but we did a couple of walks from the cottage, including one beach walk to Bamburgh when the tide was out. There are no restaurants within walking distance but plenty a short drive away - and there is artisan pizza available at the nearby campsite to take away or eat outside.

Perfect cottage and location

This cosy cottage was perfect for our stay. It had two well appointed and comfortable bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Also, a large and well equipped kitchen (a few more larger mugs would have been appreciated however this is being really picky!!). The living room was very comfortable too. The location is great with so much to see and do in all directions. A special shout out for the welcome pack, which was very generous and greatly appreciated. Finally, thank you to Shelagh for her prompt and clear communications.

Beautiful location, perfectly situated for the coast and inland walking. The cottage has been beautifully decorated in a contemporary style and all facilities and equipment are of a very high standard. It was perfect for our stay.

A perfect stay

The cottage is very pretty, warm and comfortable, it is very well equipped with everything that you could need. The beds and bed linen are of good quality. There is a glorious log fire and cosy places to sit. It is perfectly placed for seeing Northumberland and is only 10 minutes in the car to the beach. I can not praise this little cottage enough - it was a blissful break.

great little escape

The cottage is clean, well laid out and welcoming. The road close by is a little busy and some of the kitchen utensils are a little tired, but apart from that, we had a great time cycling, walking and enjoying a fantastic part of the UK. Recommended!
