Nice apartment of 85sqm in the most fascinating area of Rome where Campo dei Fiori joins the Jewish Ghetto district, the most trendy city center.
The property is on the first floor of a particular building, overlooking a small square that makes the house lighting.
The apartment consists of a small entrance that overlooks the lounge area with a large living room, it fornitures with sofa, desk and Tv library. this links through an ancient wall into the dining room with a large refectory table, kitchen with washing machine. From the living room are just a few steps through the two bedrooms the masterbed with queensize and tthe other with 2 beds which if necessary can be combined to form a second double bed. There is a cute bath fully equipped with shower unit. The property includes a nice loft space where is placed a large bed with bedside tables. There is a very large space for the pantry too.

Great spot in the city center!

This felt like staying in the home of a friend! We were welcomed with snacks and plenty of good recommendations for our stay. The apartment was a great size and location for 2 adults and 5 kids- we walked everywhere! Would stay here again.

Ermanno was a wonderful host! He arranged transport for us from the airport, met us when we arrived and provided some food and drink to get us started with our trip. The location is perfect for walking everywhere and in a quiet area. The building is old and the bathroom is small, but we had everything that we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We slept well every night!

Perfekt stay for a Rome tour

The apartment gave a spacy feeling in living room kitchen and sleeping rooms. We had good use of the air conditioners. The location is quiet placed but in walking distanse between many main attractions. The kitchen is simple but fulfill basic nejds. We reccomend this apartment for a Rome sightseeing stay.

Wonderful host and wonderful location

This is the perfect location for a home base in Rome! The apartment itself was safe and clean, as advertised. Felt comfortable here with 4 friends + room to spare. Ermanno helped arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport, allowed us to drop our bags off before check in, and gave us numerous tips for restaurants, bakeries, things to do and more. He even showed us around for a bit before running off to celebrate his wife’s birthday! We hope to stay here again on our next visit!

Good location - close to lots of food and market

Host was good and communicated well within about two days of arrival. Apartment is historic as any apartment will be in Rome so don't expect modern. Cleanliness was fine. Air conditioning isn't what Westerners are used to but it was certainly sufficient. If it was the heat of summer it may not have been as comfortable. Host provided amenities such as clean linens, coffee and WiFi. Staying in a hotel with five of us is really cost prohibitive so this was a good option for our family.

Campo di Fiori is a great location to explore many of the major attractions on foot. It's also a 5 min walk from a taxi and popular bus stop. Our host was very responsive to our questions and concerns. He allowed us to drop off our bags early before checkin, which we greatly appreciated. We had a problem with getting reliable hot water for showering. Also the bathroom faucet was constantly leaking despite us turning the knob as tightly as we could. In the end the problems were not resolved (we ended up heating up hot water on the stove) however our host tried by calling in a plumber who in our opinion did not address the issues. Our host offered to reimburse us a night's stay for the issue of the hot water supply, which we accepted. The amenities we used included washer, microwave, fridge, panini press. Standing AC was available but we never used it so cannot attest if it works. Garbage disposal and recycling located within the building. Overall the property was below our expectations but is in a great location.

Wij verbleven hier 5 nachten. De locatie is goed bereikbaar met OV en ligt vlakbij o.a. Trastevere en de gezellige Joodse buurt. Dat levert wel veel nachtelijk lawaai op van luidruchtige passanten en restaurantbezoekers, o.a. door enkel glas en kapot glas. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om de stad te verkennen. Alles op loopafstand en met de tram ben je in een paar minuten op Piazza Venezia. Het appartement zelf was schoon maar erg gedateerd en veel donkerder en kleiner dan de foto's suggereren. Weinig verblijfsruimte. prima bedden, al is het bed op de vide niet zo handig. Hij zit boven de keuken en het plafond is (te) laag. Qua voorzieningen is alles aanwezig, maar je moet het wel een beetje bij elkaar sprokkelen en de elektra was niet geweldig. Ons probleem met het warme water werd opgelost door de eigenaar die ons overigens ook erg hartelijk ontving en veel tips kon geven. Wij hadden te maken met een natte en koude week en kregen het appartement niet goed warm (en droog) gestookt. Wat ons betreft was de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding matig, met name door het slechte onderhoud en beperkt comfort. Dat wordt dan enigszins gecompenseerd door de locatie.

Owner was great with communicating and ease of check in. The location is easy to get to all the historical sights during the day. And a quick walk in the evening to Trestavare for amazing dinners and nightlife.

All major sites walkable!

This was the last stop of a long EU trip with my kids and it was exactly what we needed to see all of the major sites in Rome. Most everything you might want to see is <30m walk and there are some great non-tourist areas to enjoy the food and gelato that are 5m-10m from this apartment. Our host made the check in/check out process very easy and even brought us some food/drink to get us started for our stay. In all, it was a nice way to end our time in Europe.

Couldn't have been better

This apartment is beautiful, clean and well appointed. The location is perfect for exploring all the big tourist site of Rome. Ermanno has been fantastic to deal with from prompt replies to excellent tips and recommendations for food etc. If I was coming back to Rome I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
