This idyllic villa is the perfect place to get away from it all, nestled amongst in its own organic avocado orchard, the acre of land comes complete with mature fruit trees and organic vegetable patch, giving the impression of having your very own garden of Eden. It’s privileged position on the banks of the River Guadiaro offers private access, to this incredibly beautiful clean running river, for cooling down in the summer months.
Conveniently situated only 2 kilometres from the charming authentically Andaluscian village of San Pablo which has everything you need including a supermarket,, post office, restaurants, cafes and small shops to browse in.
Set amongst the orange groves, it offers peace and tranquillity, with spectacular views and wonderful walks. The surrounding woodland is home to an impressive collection of wild life from Deers, to owls and hawks. If you’re lucky enough to be in the right season you will see the golden Oriels making use of our mulberry tree.
The rustic farmhouse has been lovingly done up and is first and foremost a family home.
The house has an impressive double height kitchen and dining area which leads out to the outdoor seating area overlooking the impressive pool. The open plan sitting room comes with your very own cinema experience, complete with surround sound!
The main bedroom has a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and a private bathroom next door complete with both bath and an overhead shower.
Downstairs there are the two tranquil bedrooms and the shower room with it’s adorable tiled feature.

Please be aware that this is our home and it is very much a campo home, with all the implications that brings. Although we try to provide guests with a perfect stay we are not a big hotel.

You will need a car. The house is situated 2km down a track, the last part of which is NOT CEMENTED. We recommend you hire a 4x4, or at the very least a high axel vehicle.

Andalucia is one of Europe’s most impressive areas of unspoilt and beautiful countryside.This southernmost part of Spain has 23 nature parks (similar to the UK s National Parks), the largest of these is Los Alcornocales (the world’s biggest area of natural cork oak forest).
Picturesque Jimena de la Frontera with its selection of restaurants, and small independent craft shops is a 10 min drive. If you go on Friday, you can enjoy the local market too. Archaeologists have begun uncovering the remains of what they think could be one of the most important Roman settlements in Spain, under the present-day town of Jimena de la Frontera.
The flora is rich and the fauna ranges from over 200 species comprising vultures, eagles, bee eaters, golden orioles, wild boar, and the very remarkable, rarely seen, Lynx, to name but a few. Also, during the migration seasons, March and September, many passage migrants can be spotted. The area is surrounded by wonderful walks along the endless paths and tracks, many right on your doorstep, leading up the various valleys and hills. We supply routes for many of them or you can have your own personal guide. Bird watching trip s can also be arranged.The local people from the white villages scattered throughout the park, have lived in traditional harmony with the forest for centuries. They are very welcoming and they will make you feel very much at home.
Ideally situated for you to visit the many places of interest in the area. There are many sites of historic interest over the whole area including the numerous typical White Spanish Villages The cities of Jerez, Saville, Cadiz, Granada and Ronda are within driving distance,or you can travel by train from Jimena station, which is a wonderful experience.
There are beaches on the Mediterranean coast as well as the stunning unspoilt beaches in the natural parks on the Costa de Luz, the Atlantic Coast being about one and a half hours away.
A selection of activities are offered, such as hiking, horse-riding, 4x4 routes into the Natural Park, wine tasting, and massages.

Gibraltar airport is 45 km from El Estanque y El Almendro - The Royal Artillery Factory. The nearest train station is 2 km away.
