Villa Maria is like a bit of paradise with its amazing private pool and garden. It is very private being Immersed in its garden surrounded by the beautiful countryside. This beautiful Villa is all covered by stones from the outside while the inside has been lovingly restored & modernized with high quality fixtures & fittings, security system, bug nets & window shutters for those all important lie-ins. The kitchen is completed with oven and microwave and diner room has a long table with fireplace all next to a comfortable lounge. Outside a big oven and a barbecue will help you to create your own special plates. The swimming pool is the place where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful south Italian sun.
An ideal retreat for those wishing to get away from it all, but near to the town of San Vito with its many restaurants, bars & entertainment.


Located 500 meters from San Vito with its many shops, bars, restaurants. Carovigno, Ostuni, Brindisi are all nearby. Half hour drive from major tourist resorts of Alberobello, Zoo Safari at Fasano, Castellana Grottoes, Torre Canne, Monopoli, Polignano. Taranto Archeological Museum, Local cities include Brindisi, Lecce, Mesagne & Oria. Further afield are the Sassi of Matera in Basilicata, Otranto, Santa Cesarea Terme, Gallipoli & Santa Maria di Leuca. San Domenico Golf is only 40 mins. away.

The nearest beaches are less than 7 km away - the nature reserve at Torre Guaceto, Specchiolla & Santa Sabina on the Adriatic Coast.
Porto Cesareo, Porto Selvaggio, Santa Caterina are on the Ionian coast about 50 mins. away. Shopping Malls are 15 min drive away near Mesagne & Brindisi. Local Markets are held most days of the week.

Great Holiday!

What a wonderful stay at Villa Maria in San Vito dei Normanni! The villa is totally private and has a wonderful pool. Really close to the centre where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Great location to travel around the area of Puglia and close to Brindisi airport. The communication with owner Francesco was five star and he gave some great recommendations for restaurants and areas to visit. Thanks for a great holiday!

Truly amazing stay

From the start the communication from Francesco was brilliant. Arranging car hire for us was simple and straightforward and dropped off at the house. Not only that, but as we arrived early he arranged for us the be dropped off in town and even collected us himself when the property was ready. The property is simply perfect for any family! The pool was much needed on the hot sunny days and perfect for our needs. Everything you need is at the property and the town a 5 min walk where all the local supermarkets and restaurants are. Would highly recommend this property to everyone, but also Francesco as he puts your needs and requirements first. A truly amazing stay and would love to go there again soon!

First of all I want to say that Francesco solved all problems as soon as we told him, but there were too many of these little issues. After a few days we accepted it as it was and tried to enjoy the holidays. The two bath rooms have been renovated recently. The kitchen and the living room are ok, but the furniture in the bed rooms has seen better times. The pool is just for kids to splash, not for swimming. Sorry for that because it seemed bigger from the pictures and was one of the reasons why we chose this object. It was really annoying to eat from plastic plates and drink from plastic cups. This is like having holidays on a camping site.

Lovely stay

We are a family of 4 who wanted a week in the sun with a pool for the kids. This is exactly what we got. The pool was perfect for us, there was lots of inflatables left behind from previous guests too. The pool was cleaned twice during our stay. The hot tub didn't get turned on till later in the week (we didn't know to ask for it to be turned on) the hot tub was an added bonus as the sun went down / shade hit the pool around 5.30pm is (early Oct). The garden was a complete suntrap, beautifully laid out and met all of our needs. The property was clean and again met all our needs. The neighbourhood is very residential, not touristy at all (if that's what your looking for). The walk into town was aprox 10 mins, supermarket was a 5/10 min drive. The Beach was a 15 min drive. Not much to do in San Vito itself but the pool and suntrap garden is perfect for staying home. Francesco was an amazing host, very welcoming, friendly and available all through out the week whenever needed.

Jolie villa de plain-pied, spacieuse, jardin agréable et très bien orienté (sud/sud-ouest) de nombreux endroits pour manger à l'ombre ou au soleil, idéalement orientée, accès au jardin par la cuisine, lits un peu durs à notre goût, environnement calme la nuit, point de départ vers de nombreux villages pittoresques, communication avec Francesco très fluide et sympathique, ! Schöner Aufenthalte

Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet, sehr geräumig und vor allem sehr sauber. Ein großes Plus sind die Moskitonetze in jedem Raum. Der Pool ist groß und es gibt mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um das Haus. Der Whirlpool hat auch einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Lage der Villa ist ein wenig am Ortsrand von San Vito dei Normanni. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ortskern gehen und ist mit dem Auto in 20 Minuten am Meer. Für Ausflüge in Apulien ist die Lage ideal. Allen voran ist aber Francesco ein sehr netter Vermieter, der für alle Fragen zu erreichen ist. Obwohl sich unser Check-In um drei Stunden verzögert hat (wegen Problemen bei der Autovermietung) gab es überhaupt keine Problem und er hat es kurzerhand anders eingerichtet. Ein sehr freundlicher Vermieter! Wir hatten als Familie einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt!

L'accueil de Francesco a été parfait, toujours disponible et à l'écoute de nos besoins. Het verblijf in”Villa Maria “ was werkelijk heerlijk,De villa is compleet,wasmachine,vaatwasmachine,oven ,magnetron etc.Het is van alle gemakken voorzien.De villa is op loopafstand van winkels en restaurants.De foto’s komen overeen met de werkelijkheid.. De basket was voor onze kinderen een cadeautje!Heerlijk zwembad,whirlpool en ligweide met bedjes,Twee maal per week wordt het zwembad gereinigd enfin teveel om op te noemen .De eigenaar Francesco staat te allen tijden voor je klaar! Het geheel biedt veel privacy en rust,,de auto parkeer je achter de automatische deuren , De villa was schoon en voorzien van linnengoed!!! Wij gaan in ieder geval volgend jaar terugkomen!!!,

Excellent Place to Stay in Puglia

A great villa to stay at. Conveniently located for exploring the Puglia region from Bari down to the Southeastern tip - on checkin Francesco gave us plenty of suggestions for places to visit - we did them all. The villa itself was excellent. Spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool was spotless and even in the second half of October was in full sun for almost all of the day and therefore still warm enough to swim in. During the week Francesco texted a couple of times to make sure everything was OK - he clearly takes great pride in his guest's satisfaction. Overall a great place to stay and highly recommended.

Plenty of space in & around the property, 3 genuine double bedrooms (2 of which alternate as twins) with plenty of hanging & drawer space. Bathrooms good quality with decent showers. Lovely gardens & an excellent pool of appx 5ft deep throughout to provide welcome relief from the summer heat, which was cleaned twice during the week.

Perfekter Standort um Apulien zu erkunden

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Maria in San Vito dei Normanni war vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag perfekt. Die Villa ist geräumig und komplett eingerichtet. Francesco ist der perfekte Gastgeber und steht jederzeit bei Rückfragen zur Verfügung. Die Villa ist freistehend, besitzt ein elektrisches Zugangstor, der Pool ist schön groß und es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten draußen zu essen und zu sitzen. Die beiden Bäder sind neu renoviert und auch wenn es draußen nicht so warm ist kommt schön heißes Wasser aus den Duschen. In den 3 Schlafzimmern gibt es genügend Stauraum für die Bekleidung. Für nächstes Jahr plant Francesco noch die Anschaffung eines Geschirrspülers, dann fehlt es dem Haus wirklich an nichts mehr (gutes WLAN, TV, Gasherd, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Waschmaschine und Fön sind vorhanden). Wir können die Villa Maria vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Es hat sich gelohnt….

Ich schreibe hier kurz über das tolle Haus mit Pool, das wir letzte Woche bei nicht so schönem Wetter gemietet haben. Das Haus ist komplett und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten mit Pool und Whirlpool toll und nicht einsehbar. Die im Moment im Haus noch fehlende Geschirrspülmaschine wird laut Francesco (dem Vermieter) im Winter nachgerüstet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war top und bei ihm kann man auch immer problemlos nachfragen und sich Tips für die Umgebung, sei es über den Kauf von Olivenöl oder Rotwein, geben lassen. Vom Haus ist in nur ca. 200 Meter das schöne kleine Städtchen San Vito problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (wie Supermärkte oder mehrere Bäcker) sind mit dem Auto auch nur zwei Minuten entfernt. Zum Meer sind es ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Zum Flughafen nach Brindisi nur 22. Mehrere schöne Städte in der Nähe wie Ostuni, Cisternino oder Lecce laden zu einem Besuch ein. Rundherum (noch) Itlien pur wie in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten. Schön, dass wir da waren.

Sehr schöne Villa, Erholung und Ruhe

Wir, eine Familie mit 3 Kindern zwischen 1 und 14 Jahren, haben hier 10 Tage in dieser schönen Villa verbracht. Als Willkommensgruss gab es einen salentinischen Wein und Taralli, ein typisches apulienisches Gebäck. Die Villa ist sauber, groß und bietet in allen Bereichen sehr viel Platz. Außerhalb hat man die Möglichkeit außerhalb die Kinder springen zu lassen ohne Angst haben zu müssen. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, was in Italien nicht selbstverständlich ist. Der Pool war groß, immer sauber und wurde in der Woche mehrmals professionell gereinigt. Auch der Whirlpool ist klasse, nur war das Wasser etwas zu kalt. Der Vermieter Francesco ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber, immer stets zur Verfügung wenn man ihn braucht. Wir empfehlen diese tolle Villa sehr gerne weiter und wir kommen wieder. Excellent séjour

Nous avons passés un séjour parfait dans cette villa. Très propre, très bien agencée, décorée. La maison dispose de tout ce dont nous avons besoin. La localisation de San Vitto dei Normanni est bien car plutôt proche des lieux à visiter. La piscine est parfaite et très propre. Francesco est un super hôte, très gentil, toujours disponible pour nous, il met à disposition tout ce dont on a besoin dans la maison. Il est à l'écoute. Nous sommes très heureux de ce séjour et encore un grand merci à Francesco. En espérant pouvoir y revenir, nous recommandons ++ cette maison. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
