Just renovated Ground Floor apartment in the City Center - Alfama district beside St George’s castle, in a traditional house among local people where you can fully enjoy the flavor of the city. Here you’ll get the real atmosphere living among the locals.
We will be there on your arrival to give you the door code and more local information.

Apartment sleeping 2 + 2 in just restored 300-year-old building 30 meters from Lisbon’s famous Santa Lucia viewpoint in Alfama, five minutes ’walk from the castle and cathedral. Markets, a bakery and restaurants are nearby. Traditional trams pass stop 10 meters away, and metro is 600 meters away.

The apartment has bedroom with two bunk beds which looks out onto onto the road, and an inner bedroom with a double bed. In the living room with a sofa.

A perfect base to explore Lisbon! Small and comfortable for a couple or with small children, little tight for three adults. Our hosts were delightful and helpful, making everything easy. This apartment is central to all Alfama attractions. Check in and communication were seamless. The apartment is clean and comfortable. It is compact and below grade level with the 28 tram going by regularly so you will notice some noise/vibration. There is a dehumidifier that ran steadily.

An excellent location

Overall we had a great stay in the apartment. Although small, everything we needed was included. There could have been greater clarity on the double bedroom being internal as this came as something of a surprise. We had very noisy residents above us who kept us awake some nights. Also, the bar across the road could be very noisy. On the plus side, the location is perfect, convenient for most places or a short stroll at least. The check in process was informative although everything we needed to know was also available in the folder.

Great place to stay in Lisbon

Absolutely loved this neighborhood full of quaint narrow lanes and streets and old shops. Such character. The tram runs right by the apt, but sleeping in the back, you don’t hear it. If you sleep in the front room, it might be. The main bedroom is comfortable. I can’t speak for the front bunk beds, used it as a dressing room. Kitchen is adequate. I didn’t really cook there with all the great restaurants about. If you don’t like to walk there are plenty of taxis and ever-ready Ubers about. I’m a walker so it didn’t bother me. Great entertainment on the terraces facing thr ocean. Lots to do in Lisbon!

This apt. is partially renovated and has already taken a bit of a beating. The bunk bed is TERRIBLE. It might be ok for a little child, but according to the listing you don't even allow children so I'm not sure how 2 more adults could use those beds. We took the mattress from the top and put it on bottom and 1 adult still could not sleep because it was so uncomfortable. Also, it doesn't seem the floors have been cleaned at all. On day 1 my new white socks were almost black. We also had to chip ice out of the freezer to use it. The sofa is not a sofa, it is a worn out futon. Good things: your security system is great, bathroom is nice, double bed is good, loved the location. But all that goes unappreciated if you can't sleep and then can't enjoy the sites because you're so tired. Great for one person or a couple, definitely not for 4 adults or 2 singles.

Emplacement est très favorable à la visite de Lisbonne autonome, à pied. Étant au sous-sol c’est un peu humide et forcément moins insonorisé lorsque voisin en haut. Chambre avec lits superposés, collée sur fenêtre donc passage fréquent du tramway. Hyper propre et idéal pour déjeuner et partir en visite dans la journée. Près de plusieurs mirodouros incroyables.
