We were met just outside at the property by Carolina, which was helpful, as the apartment is in an apartment building set back from the main road. It is up a flight of steep stairs. Carolina helped us with our luggage. The apartment was charming and clean. One drawback was the limited amount of hot water for showers; enough for one shower, or two very quick showers.

Wonderful stay at the apartment. It was a great location where we were able to walk everywhere in the city. Very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay.

Quiet at night except for the nightly garbage pickup which was not for long. Close to all Alfama experiences. Very narrow steep flight of stairs to the apartment. We were met by a very pleasant hostess who quickly showed us through the apartment. We appreciated the room heaters and extra blankets as it was chilly, being early March. Beds were comfortable enough.

Excellent location, great little apartment.

This apartment provided everything that my mom and I needed while we toured the Lisbon area. It was an excellent location for the tram, bus, and train; and within walking distance to so much.

Authentic Portuguese Experience

We greatly enjoyed this flat. It was easy to feel enveloped in the Portuguese culture due to the neat and authentic accommodations that are located near plenty of Portuguese shops and tourism. The hosts’ communication was excellent and they answered all our questions graciously and promptly. This stay was a great find and we would gladly book again!

Great apartment with wonderful host

The apartment is perfectly situated in Alfama close to so many sites. Antonio is super sweet and gave us coveted restaurant tips that ensured we had fantastic meals every day. Highly recommend!

Cosy, nicely decorated. Well equipped (e.g. dishwasher, washing machine). Quiet location, but still very close to the sights of Alfama. Be aware of the steep stairs from street level up to apartment itself.

Very nice!

This apt is a great location for touring Lisbon. We walked everywhere, great restaurants nearby along with some Mercados. The apt has 2 bedrooms which is great for traveling with friends. It has a nice sofa, nicely furnished and clean

Lovely little apartment in heart of Lisbon

The apartment was perfectly placed for our week of exploring the city, surrounded by interesting landmarks, and good restaurants. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for my husband baby daughter and I. Great communication and friendly service from the owners who also organised us an airport transfer and Luis our contact who met us on arrival. We had a lovely stay would highly recommend ****
