Some good and some bad

The neighbourhood was great. The 2 bedrooms and the 2 balconies (front and back) were great. Some annoyances: - The 2 bathrooms are not full bathrooms. One bathroom has a toilet and a sink. The other bathroom has a shower and a sink. - The kitchen was poorly stocked, making it more awkward to prepare home-cooked meals than it should have been. - The front door key to the building did not fit the lock well, making it difficult to get into the building. More serious bad experiences: We were charged for damage we did not commit, even though we challenged the accusation. Visitors would be advised to sweep the apartment carefully upon arrival, and take photos when arriving and departing. A damage preauthorization was required upon checkin. The Swikly app was used for that and was a last minute surprise. The cost of the repair was processed through that platform several weeks after checkout. An all around unpleasant experience

Not 2 bathrooms

We had trouble checking in which left us standing on the street tor over an hour. Then we got in and found out the apartment only has one shower and one toilet. Not two true bathrooms. The location was a bit difficult to get to the sites. We would never stay here again.

Amazing views and lovely space

The view from the deck is lovely as is the apartment itself. Everything was as advertised including the stairs. It is a nice but hilly walk to all of the tourist sights. It is a short walk from many nice restaurants and a lovely miradour.

Negatives: Bad communication/customer service/checkin experience Cleanness - mold present No key for the community entrance False advertisement Positives: Location - walking distance to historic attractions and restaurants This was the most unpleasant experience I've had with local homestays. It started with the checkin process. They requested an arrival time, and they did not explain that they would only provide a 20min window for the checkin. This was a first all in itself. We were late due to some vehicle issues, and arrived two hours later than expected. We were "welcomed" with an unpleasant attitude. The apartment is advertised as two full baths, but it's basically a shower in one side and the toilet in the other. So one full bathroom. The shower smelled like mold all through our stay. We had to leave the balcony door open the whole time - no matter how cold it was inside. The building front door doesn't open with key. You have to buzz the neighbors in order to get in. Two things happen during our 3-day stay: 1. The neighbor came out and seemed bothered by this - which is understandable. 2. We were woken up at 7am one day by someone else trying to get into the building and buzzing the bell constantly. The location is good. No parking around and very crowded. So if you driving wouldn't recommend.
