About this property

Modern Central Apartment Sea Views Near to Beach

8 Sunday School Court, is a contemporary hideaway in central St Ives near to beaches, Tate and the Barbara Hepworth museum.

With modern fittings you'll find this apartment the perfect retreat after a day on the beach.

Local essentials are seconds away, including bakeries, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. Tucked back near the peaceful haven of Trewyn Gardens you can easily escape the hustle and bustle of a busy day on the harbour.

Sit back and admire the sea view from the living area or rustle up dinner with the same backdrop, you’ll look East over St Ives Bay with Godrevy lighthouse in the distance and St Eia Church in the foreground.

The kitchen is well equipped. You'll have appliances which include a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a good oven. Perfect for those meals in!

There are two comfortable sofas and TV in the living area. The Juliette balcony is ideal for warmer days and getting lots of fresh air into the apartment.

The two bedrooms both have TVs and storage. The master bedroom can be set as a twin or a king size bed (please note the singles are 2'6).

The family shower room features a power shower, heated towel rails and soft fluffy white towels.

You're a ten minute walk to several beaches, all white sand with clear waters. Surfers will be tempted to head over to Porthmeor beach where the waves can be some of the best around on a given day (ask Sam or Josh for surf tips if you want!).

The property doesn't include car parking but there is a possibility of a space onsite by separate discussion. It is subject to availability, feel free to message us before booking if it's essential!

Sam and team are here to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

Guests are welcome to use the whole property.

We live locally and know the area really well. We're here to make sure you have a great time, whether it's surf tips from Sam or places to eat, your welcome to ask us for help and advice.

We use a self service check-in to give you flexibility when arriving, we might swing by to check everything is ok during your stay but we like to respect your privacy to.

St Ives is a really special town. With a mixed history, it's an ancient fishing port that has developed into an artistic escape for many and is now one of the UK's best know holiday towns.

You'll find golden sand beaches with crystal clear waters, surfers love Porthmeor and there are at least 3 other beaches in a 15-20 minute walk from your front door.

Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum and Gardens are well worth a wander, both are in walking distance to.

The food scene is excellent and you can expect more than just standard grub. From family friendly to the likes of Porthminster Beach Cafe which serve excellent food in a laid back beach side environment.

8 Sunday School Court is close to St Ives train and bus stations (5-8 minute walks). We find many of our guests don't use their car during their stay as St Ives has lots to do, if this might be you, do consider the train.

Everything in town is in walking distance.

There are some good local bus routes and we highly recommend exploring the renowned South West Coast Path.

The property does require stairs, both internal and external, to access. There is no lift.

Great apartment, just a stones throw from the harbour, restaurants and shops. Sea view from balcony, and bedrooms were light and airy. Already thinking of rebooking!

Lovely little apartment

Really well located, nice apartment. View of the sea and lovely French doors to open on a warm day. All communication with Sam was great and she was really helpful.

comfortable and convenient

This flat was just right for our two-week stay in St. Ives, comfortable, clean, and perched just slightly off the busiest streets, but right in the middle of town. For such a long stay we needed to cook at home a lot, and this flat had a functional and acommodating kitchen, and Co-op grocery within steps. Beds were comfy, bathroom spotless, and we even got a courtesy linen change halfway through our long stay. I loved the view from the front room French doors.
