Villa Del Golfo has stunning sea views, perfectly private and peaceful; adjacent to the Sette Fratelli national park this beautiful semi detached villa is set in the enchanting South Eastern coast of Sardinia. The elegant and comfortable villa has panoramic sea views overlooking the gulf of Cagliari and is perfect for spacious outdoor living and a spectacular holiday abroad.

New to HomeAway for 2019, the Villa Del Golfo is situated between Cagliari and Villasimius with far reaching views across the sea leading onto the beautiful landscape of the adjacent national park.

The villa:

The villa is situated on a private gated residence and is ideal for those looking for a peaceful stay with breath taking sea views. The villa also has the added benefit of private parking. Outside, the spacious terraces provide plenty of space for alfresco dining, a gorgeous pool and a beautiful tiered garden for sunbathing with views to the sea surrounding the villa. Inside, the villa is light, spacious and stylishly decorated.

The large open plan living area consists of a comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling doors that lead you to the terrace facing the ‘Golfo Degli Angeli’ ahead. The front terrace wraps around the house and leads you directly to the beautiful pool situated in the private back garden. The modern kitchen is attractive and well equipped, with a dining table for 6 guests which opens onto the front terrace and also back garden – perfect for alfresco dining using the outdoor BBQ. The guest bathroom is also located off the open plan living area with a door leading directly to the pool.

Both double bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor and open to a terrace with sea views. The bedrooms benefit from a naturally cool temperature and also have air conditioning. There is also a main bathroom located across the hallway from both bedrooms. The villa has three air conditioning units, one in each double bedroom and one in the living area.

The setting:

The setting of Villa Del Golfo is truly magnificent, being geographically only 260m away from the sea. All supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants are only a few minutes drive away from the villa.

The most famous beach nearest to the villa is Mari Pintau meaning ‘painted sea’, which is only a 6 minute drive from the villa. ‘Is Canaleddus’ beach club is also just around the corner which offers sun lounger hires with a beautiful coffee shop and restaurant. The alluring sandy beaches of South East Sardinia are located 3km in either direction of the villa. The closest marina is ‘Capitana’ which is a 7 minute drive towards Cagliari, here you can organise boat tours and also dine in the trendy ‘Victory By Lord Nelson’ - a top spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

To reach the stunning Villa Del Golfo there are 61 steps from the private parking space to the front door, meaning it is not recommended for those with walking difficulties or very young children.

Great Place for Sea View Lovers

Fantastic beaches can be reached by car within 15 to 30 minutes. If you like to cook after a day at the beach, and eat with a view on the sea, there is no nicer place for you to be..The host brought new towels at our request and also the pool was cleaned during our stay.There is an outdoor shower with hot water, which we enjoyed daily.We had a great time with our friends there.

Beautiful views

Lovely home with a fantastic view. Comfortable beds with air conditioning. The beaches are amazing in Sardinia but it was nice to also have a swim in the pool. 60 steps to get to house was a bit of a struggle especially if you had lots of shoppping and your suitcases. Thankyou Sergio for meeting us when we arrived and your help taking our suitcases upto house.

We had a fantastic stay in that wonderful house. The view is amazing! We also enjoyed the pool and the famous beach „Mari Pintau“ is only a 10 Min. drive away. The house, especially the kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, even a little air fryer was available. The Communication with Sergio was easy and nice. The stairs to reach the house haven‘t been a Problem at all. Plus, The elevated position of the house on the hill ensures the amazing views.

A perfect Sardinian get way

Elaine and Sergio were excellent hosts, arrival instructions were perfect and easy to follow, they provided a list of local amenities, activities and restaurants and checked in on us (by text) during the holiday and when we did have a slight problem, they responded within minutes. The Villa was also perfect (if you don't mind a few steps), the view over south Sardinia/Cagliari was amazing and the photos don't do it justice and the pool was fabulous as was the whole villa! We spent a week at this villa in Sardinia. The location is very peaceful with stunning sea views from the outside terrace. The villa is quite remote, so a car is essential, although several excellent beaches and restaurants are a short drive away.The villa has many nice outdoor areas, including the outside pool. A slight downside was the lack of an oven, which made cooking more limited than expected.Before arrival, the check-in information and process was a little vague. However, once we arrived (after negotiating the locked gate on the access road!) Sergio was there to meet us and help with our bags. He also gave us some great hints / tips for things to see and do in the area and very kindly left a few cold drinks in the fridge that were very welcome after a long day of travelling. Sergio also kept in touch during our stay to check on how things were going.

A modern, bright, spacious house from which to enjoy Sardinia

On arrival we met Sergio (the owner) who is warm and welcoming. The house is bright and spacious with an amazing private secluded pool outside. The house is well equipped with most of the home comforts of a family home with the exception of an oven, which requires a little creativity at times. The acoustics are a little challenging if you have little ones who are light sleepers but on the whole it’s fine. The gated complex is safe and a great base to explore the many wonderful beaches that the area offers. The guest book that Sergio has developed over many years is the ideal starting point to plan your days and as he put it you can learn from the experiences. In short this is a really nice house and well worth booking for your next family holiday. Have a great time.

Perfect Villa Del Golfo!

This little villa was just the ticket for our family (2 adults, two girls 16 and 20). We appreciated the modern design, fittings, the abundance of kitchen utensils and crockery. The view is stunning. The location is great, between Villasimius and Poetto, there are a wealth of beautiful beaches to visit - the cool box and beach umbrellas were super handy, thanks. A good supermarket is close by and even a recommended pizza take out restaurant! That said a car hire is recommended. BUT beware when booking and collecting your car at Cagliari airport if you have a commonly shortened name (Ben, Benjamin) because if all your id’s credit card and car hire reservation don’t match identically they will deny you your car! We were luckily able to hire another from a local company but please be warned! So after a very stressful start to our holiday Sergio could not have given us a more relaxed and welcoming check in, thankfully with some cold drinks already in the fridge! I highly recommend this property.

Eine Woche relaxen mit Traumaussicht

Es war eine tolle, sehr entspannte Woche ohne Zwänge in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Wir haben es genossen, in der ersten Urlaubswoche einfach zu tun was wir wollen. Das Haus von Sergio war dazu ideal. Komfortabel, super designt und detailreich ausgestattet. Empfang und Unterstützung des Eigentümers - sehr freundlich. Auch dass wir einen unkomplizierten early check-in und einen late-check out machen durften - wunderbar. Einzige Abweichung von unserer Erwartung: der Pool liegt hinterm Haus, umgeben von Mauerwerk, ohne Sicht, und auch der Blick vom WoZi direkt auf die Poolmauer ist nicht sehr schön. Das ist aber auch alles an "Enttäuschung". Danke für eine schöne Urlaubswoche!

Tolle Unterkunft, schöne Gegend, angenehmer Gastgeber

Alles lief problemlos, die Kommunikation vorab und die Verabredung zur Übergabe. Das Haus wurde dann durch Sergio persönlich übergeben. Es war sauber und ist sehr umfangreich ausgestattet. Auch im Nachgang wurden Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet. Mehr kann ich nicht erwarten. Das Haus selber ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Der Blick ist sensationell und jeden Abend kann man wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen.Fußläufig geht allerdings nichts. Egal, ob es an einen der schönen Strände der Umgebung gehen soll, zum Einkaufen oder zum Restaurantbesuch: ein Auto ist unabdingbar. Danke an Sergio.

Wunderbarer Familienurlaub - rundum zufrieden

Wir haben die Woche in der Villa mit Traumlage enorm genossen. Die Sicht von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend, die Kinder haben den Pool mega genossen und wir Eltern fanden es einfach wohltuend und entspannend, mit einem Kaffee am Morgen oder einem Glas Wein am Abend das Meer zu bestaunen! Elaine und Sergio haben sich zuerst direkt persönlich und dann von Ferne super um uns „gekümmert“ - das Nachfragen von Elaine, ob alles gut laufe nach ein paar Tagen haben wir sehr geschätzt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Die Küche ist gut, gewisse Utensilien (Pfannen, Kochtöpfe, Messer) könnten etwas „kochfreundlicher“ sein. Zu beachten ist, dass ohne Auto nicht viel zu machen ist - zum Meer, zum einkaufen, zu den Restaurants ist ein Auto unabdingbar. Herzlichen Dank an Elaine und Sergio für die tolle Woche in ihrer Villa! P.S. Die Feigen waren soooooo gut! ☺️

Traumhaus mit grandiosem Ausblick

Die Villa hat einen grandiosen und nicht zu übertreffenden Ausblick auf das Meer. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet, die Außenanlagen und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. The owner, Elaine, could not have been more helpful for great dining suggestions and beach/boat activities and very quick to respond to any of our questions. The 60 step climb from the parking lot is an obvious deterrent for entering and exiting the property once or twice a day. Also, in the absence of an oven or microwave cooking is restricted. Otherwise, it is clean and well maintained.

Ein Traum für Erholungsbedürftige

Unser Ziel war Ruhe und Erholung mit etwas Aktivität. Dafür war die wunderbare Villa del Golfo perfekt. Es begann mit einer Führung durch das Haus, begleitet von vielen wertvollen Tipps zu den schönsten Stränden, den besten Restaurants, wo man hin sollte um die Natur zu geniessen, wo man eher Menschen trifft und wo man gut einkaufen kann. Wer sich nicht alles merken kann findet ein Fotobuch mit allen nützlichen Adressen zusammengestellt. Einer unserer Lieblingsplätze war die oberste Ebene des Gartens oberhalb des Pools. Die Liegestühle stehen unter einem Baum und man hat eine fantastische Aussicht auf das Meer und die Berge. Falls der Wind heftig bläst ist es angenehmer etwas geschützt direkt am Pool. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Sollte es mal etwas frisch werden gibt es in allen Räumen eine Heizung, die sehr schnell aufwärmt - oder bei Bedarf auch kühlt. Eine grosse schöne Küche verleitet einen, auch mal „zuhause“ zu kochen. Der Balkon bietet eine grossartige Aussicht auf das Meer vom Frühstück bis zum Sundownder, die Sonne geht direkt vor der Nase unter. Die Nachbarn im Doppelhaus hört man, allerdings nicht störend. Auch die Strasse ist hörbar, besonders am Wochenende. Insgesamt ist es jedoch sehr ruhig und die Fenster isolieren sehr gut, der Schlaf ist daher sehr erholsam. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es wunderbare Strände, schöne einfache Wanderwege, auf denen man ganz für sich ist, einen schönen Golfplatz (Tanka Golf Club Villasimius) und auch gute Restaurants, von denen die näheren teilweise zweite Hälfte Oktober bereits geschlossen sind. Es bleibt jedoch genügend Auswahl. Ein Auto ist unabdingbar, wenn man etwas rumkommen will. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und reagieren schnell auf jegliche Anfragen. Wer eine unbeschwerte Zeit im Süden Sardiniens verbringen will findet hier ein kleines Paradies.

magnifique vue sur la mer

Très belle maison, aménagée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La maison est située sur les hauteurs, offrant une vue magnifique sur la mer et Cagliari. Quelque soit le moment de la journée, la situation de la maison vous permet de profiter du calme, du soleil et de l'ombre, selon vos envies. Les chambres sont très confortables, comme les pièces à vivre. La location est située à 10-15 minutes des premières boutiques, bars et restaurants; la voiture est donc indispensable. La première plage se trouve également à 10 minutes mais si vous préférez de belles plages de sables fins, il faut aller en direction de Villasmius à environ 30-40 minutes de voiture. Elaine et Sergio sont toujours très accueillants et serviables. Merci à vous deux pour les délicatesses de bienvenue. Nous avons découvert le sud de la Sardaigne et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Villa del Golfo !!! vivement notre prochain séjour !!!
