About this property

Take in the morning sunrise from your own deck overlooking a lagoon filled with wildlife including fish, turtles, gulls, herons and the occasional alligator. The corner villa not only has expansive views of the lagoon but also a large grassy area to the front and side where children can play games and animals can run.

The two bedroom villa (one king, two twins) has newer hardwood floors. The master bedroom overlooks the lagoon. Flat screen televisions are in each bedroom and living room. The living room has a pull out queen sofa bed. The fully stocked kitchen has all the cooking tools you have at home including blender, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, knives, cookie sheets, casserole dishes, measuring utensils, etc.

Enjoy local seafood at the dining table inside or from the enclosed screened patio which has a dining table with room for six adults. Couples can enjoy their meals or morning coffee from the bistro table on the open deck overlooking the lagoon.

If you have children, there is a pack and play and booster seat.

For the unfortunate bad weather days you can still enjoy your time in the villa with an assortment of books, games and wireless internet. You will also find a binder full of information on the island, Charleston, area restaurants and places of interest.

Leave your worries and big suitcases at home as all linens including sheets, and towels are provided.

Bring the provided beach bag, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, bocce ball set, discs for disc golf, beach cart or wagon down to the beach, only a five minute walk away.

Great spring break trip!

We brought our teen daughters and their friends and had a great time! I was able to cook most of our meals. We loved using the binoculars and seeing deer, birds and a few alligators! The master bed is so comfy! We walked around the island and enjoyed food and drinks from the nest. The kids loved the basketball and soccer fields. You really have no reason to leave the area. It was relaxing and we made wonderful memories! Thank you!

Picture perfect

Linda was an amazing host, she called us prior to our trip to ensure we were ready to enjoy our stay. She offered suggestions of local places. The villas are simply dreamy. The king bed was one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The decor was inviting and the view, that view was everything

Nicely renovated

Clean with comfortable furniture/ beds. 8 minute walk to beach. There was a wagon but wheels rusted & unusable. Very limited TV channels & poor reception. I did not contact management about it. I did not think anything much could be done & not very tech savy myself. I would stay here again

Wonder condo in Kiawah

This was a wonderful holiday and perfect stay for our family of four. The two bedrooms and living room worked out perfectly and the view overlooking the pond from the porch was peaceful. We saw lots of wild life and the short walk to the beach was comfortable even while bringing all the things. Night Heron park was a big bonus for our boys.

Great First Time to Kiawah

Usually go to mountains until my son found this place. Didn’t know what to really expect but villa really nice and comfortable, brought our two dogs and beach, parks etc few minute walk Island itself is incredible even winter time. Enjoyed great fishing, golf and dining. We will be back.

Disappointed

We packed the car and dog to have a quiet few days on Kiawah Island. Unfortunately, there was construction at the next door villa which was loud. The inside of the villa looked clean but I only went in the front area to determine the noise level inside which was not suitable. I contacted the property manager and she agreed to refund our monies for the rental. At least we live close to Kiawah Island so returned home disappointed.

Perfect Getaway

This villa is awesome. Perfect location. All the pots and pans you will ever need. Our dog enjoyed it as much as we did. Lagoon in the back door was a special touch. I even had a God wink with a deer on bike path. So close I could have touched him. It was the joy of my heart. I don’t want you to come here - I want it all to myself!!! 😜

The unit has everything

We are amazed at how will equipped this unit is. Owners have everything available for renters. Beach chairs, beach toys, cart to carry things to the beach, binoculars, flashlights, scissors, books, games, etc. Great water pressure in shower. Labels for everything. Very comfortable unit. Very easy to get onto wifi. Great location. Beautiful setting. So much to love. A few minor suggestions. Could use instructions for the TV in a very obvious place. We couldn't find dishwashing detergent (cleaning crew found it for us, but it took some searching,) and there was no laundry detergent. We had shampoo and conditioner with us, but most vrbos that we rent, provide that. So, it's just sort of ironic that this unit provides tons of things that other units places dont provide, but overlooked a few minor things that we assumed would be there. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we plan to stay here again.

Picturesque Kiawah Island

The property owner/manager, Linda, was excellent and very professional. The only negative was Mother Nature as it rained every day during our five day stay. As a family, we would return again and stay at the same location. Villa was spacious and intimate as well as impeccably clean and organized. Amenities were excellent with items we never expected to have at our disposal.

Wonderful Vacation

Our second time staying at Linda's condo. We had a great vacation and couldn't ask for anything more. We love the location, a quick bike ride to the beach, fantastic view of the lagoon and the condo has everything we need. Kiawah is such a beautiful place, can't wait to come back again!

This is a lovely home, with a peaceful water view and central location. Only downside is that the property doesn’t have resort pool privileges. Would definitely rent again.

Better than pictured

Lots of light, clean, well-equipped kitchen, nice updates. Very comfortable furniture. Best matresses ever in a rental. Even the twin beds!! Amazing view especially as the sun comes up over the water

Great property, difficult check-in

To check into this property, the owner sends a letter by mail that is supposed to contain the keypad code that allows you to retrieve the physical key. I never received the letter, and did not realize we would not be able to get in when we arrived at 8 pm after 8.5 hours of driving! We could not get ahold of the property manager via the app and their listed phone number just rang the busy signal. The VRBO support was non-existent (could not get through to a real person via the chat feature or by phone). Finally the property manager saw my desperate email and called us back. We checked in 1.5 hours after arriving. Other than this initial snag, the stay was wonderful. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with plates, cooking utensils and silverware. Nice quiet bedrooms, wonderful living room, two baths. We did see a couple of large dead cockroaches, but we get those in AZ as well, so not a huge deal to us. Overall, a superb stay in a wonderful island community with lots of trails for walking, running and biking and a 5-minute walk to the beach. Grateful we were able to come!

East Beach Villa

The villa is super cute and an easy walk to the beach. There was a great outside space for the dogs and plenty of room inside for 5 adults and 3 extra large dogs (60 - 90lbs). There was lots of communication from the owner who was readily available if she was needed. Overall we would definitely stay yhere again!

Beautiful place to stay

I did not realize this was as far away from Charleston as it is, or I would probably have chosen another property. But I'm glad I chose this one, even unknowingly. The drive to Charleston was not bad, and we loved the property. The island is so beautiful, and the beach is so convenient.

Home away from home

Location is perfect, facing the lagoon a short distance from the beach in a nice quiet section of the island. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds comfortable, the open layout of the villa and outdoor seating are great for just hanging out. We are definitely coming back.

Kiawah paradise

Parkside’s Villa is an ideal location. A pleasant walk or bike ride to the wide, long, clean beach has wildlife surprises to see here and there. The main bike path on the island is close by. Looking out at the lagoon is a pleasure, especially with the binoculars provided. Freshfields Village is just a few miles away for quality groceries, dining and shopping. Mingo Point for fishing or kayaking in the marshes is also within a fifteen minute bike ride. Night Heron Park and the nature center are neighbors to Parkside Villas. This Villa is well equipped for cooking. The furnishings are so comfortable. Communication with the manager is top notch. I can’t wait to return to this exact location. Don’t hesitate to book this property!
