Casa Maria Giovanna, located in the heart of Praiano, between Positano and Amalfi, is a charming family home built in the early 1800's and recently restored with its vaulted ceilings and typical local architecture. Its large patio offers an above-ground pool (available June-September) and breathtaking views over the sea.
The furnished 3-bedroom/2 bath apartment is very spacious and bright. It features high vaulted ceilings and is decorated with local paintings and artwork.
The large open-plan living room has a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven and microwave).
The bedrooms and living room have air conditioning, and the bathrooms have a tub and shower, featuring a chromotherapy light system. A laundry room contains a washing machine, iron and ironing board. A safe is also available on request.
The private outdoor patio overlooks lovely flowering gardens and sea. It features an above-ground swimming pool (available June-September), an open-air shower with hot/cold water, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a dining table for your "al fresco" meals under the sun or moonlight.

Beautiful home with wonderful host

Beautiful home that has a bright and well appointed interior that is very well maintained. The view is great as well. The photos on the website actually don't do it justice. Giovanni and his father, Papa Luca were very gracious. Thanks and hope to stay there again.

Paradise in Praiano

Casa Maria Giovanna is a beautiful home with the most amazing views. We were a party of 8 adults (2 elderly) visiting the Amalfi Coast for a family wedding. Everything was very clean and all my questions to the host, Giuseppe were answered quickly. His father Luca met us with our luggage and helped us carry it all to the front door. I asked ahead of time and was expecting the stairs, but it is a lot (especially for those with mobility issues) There are 60 steps to travel each time you leave the apartment. However, the location is really perfect; quiet, amazing views from the outside patios and close to a local bus stop, two restaurants, and a gorcery store. Luca helped us navigate the bus schedule although transportation to other cities along the coast can be tricky. We rented
