Even though our unit is similar to the others in this complex, we have made many upgrades/enhancements to give you the best family vacation. As individual owners of 1 unit (we are not a revolving door owner) we want to treat you honestly and fairly to create a lasting relationship for your future visits. This is our second "home" and not a spec rental property. We often stay off the rental market to help our unit remain pristine. Our rental philosophy is to minimize the in/out by only making our unit available on a 7-day basis. We have tried to make “Peach Palms” as comfortable and home-like as possible with meticulous cleaning by an individual cleaning service.

Peach Palms is a 5th floor oasis away from the noise of restaurant/bar and pool area. It includes linens/towels/mattress/bedding, SMART TVs with Netflix/Hulu apps (to load your own account info) and other apps. We attempted to include all comforts of home.

The 5th floor location provides the ease of short elevator waits, while maintaining a great view of the city and an obstructed ocean view.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (Keurig K cup and full pot, blender, toaster) and essential cooking utensils that will make you feel like you are at your home away from home! From coffee cups to wine glasses, most everything you need is available. The dining table seats four and there are three seats at the bar. Everyone has a place to sit and be together during gathering and meal times.

Located in the living room is a large 50” HDTV that operates on Cox Contour and includes some movie channels. The room has a ceiling to floor-sliding door providing balcony sunset views that can be seen from the comfortable sofa.

The master bedroom includes a King bed with new mattress/bedding, TV, and a large sliding door to the common balcony. The master bathroom is equipped with garden tub/shower.

The second Jr. bedroom has a full size "captain's bed" that sleeps 2 with conveniently located drawers underneath, and a SMART TV that can keep your toddler/tween/teenager/gamer entertained. Adjacent to the second bedroom is the second full sized bathroom with a large, tiled shower.

Peach Palms is perfect for couples or small families providing beds for up to 4 guests.

The Palms of Destin is truly a resort fit for the whole family! Known as Destin’s largest lagoon style pool, this 11,000-square foot "zero edge" pool comes equipped with 5 waterfalls, children's splash pad, fountains and water spouts, smaller heated pool, and hot tub. The pool deck area has a poolside bar and lounge.

If the beach is more of your style, a 5-7 min walk across Hwy 98 (2-3 blocks w/signaled pedestrian crosswalk) makes for an easy stroll to the beach. OR you can enjoy the FREE Palms Shuttle to several beach stops or shopping areas. ALSO, Henderson Beach State Park is several blocks away (a short drive) and features 6,000 feet of sugar white sand, restrooms, nature trails and pavilions for grilling and picnics. As one of the beach stops provided by the Palms Shuttle - the State Park requires approximately a $2/person entrance fee. If your family prefers - you can drive your own vehicle 3 minutes to Henderson Beach State Park and enter for approximately $6/vehicle. Henderson is usually less crowded than the public beach areas and has convenient beach bathrooms/pavilions.

The Palms of Destin also has on-site activities to entertain guests of all ages. Sport enthusiasts will enjoy the basketball courts, tennis courts, pickle ball, and a fitness center. The Palms picnic area has charcoal grills for guest use as needed. Children will love the spacious playground.

We loved everything about our stay! The owner was exceptionally helpful, the stay was perfect. We arrived late and had all of our check-in docs waiting for us in a lockbox( arranged by the owner). Our kids LOVED the swimming pool area which was never packed. The beach was directly across the street and ALL the best restaurants are nearby. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and all the utensils available to us. We will definitely be staying here on our next trips to Destin! Perfect for families!!

Great location!!!

We had a fabulous stay! I loved the new flooring in the condo and the fact it came with starter supplies for the laundry, dishwasher, and some cleaning supplies. There was also beach toys with beach chairs provided which my kids loved! The elevators ran fast which was a plus! We enjoyed the good vibes restaurant and it was very kid friendly :) we definitely didn’t want to leave!!!

2019 Family Vacation

The owners of the property were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire vacation process.  Our room was updated, clean and comfortable. My son really enjoyed the smart TVs with access to Netfix, etc. We appreciated the balcony and the fresh air it had to offer – it had a park view with a [very] partial ocean view. The washer and dryer had to be one of the biggest perks, with sand-galore, it was nice to be able to wash our clothes and not have to worry about taking them back home “dirty”. We loved the lagoon/pool area.  However, the building itself (inside and out) needed some TLC. The restaurant and bar were just ok – seemed fairly expensive for the drinks and food that were served. A busy highway does divide the property from the beach, so beware that, more than likely, you’ll have to drive in order to access the water. Overall, we were happy with the inside of our unit. I was less thrilled about the building and the location itself.

Perfect Destin Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay in this rental. It was just as described and communication was great. The location is perfect for the beach and the pool access. The resort has many activities and amenities for the family to enjoy. We did not have to drive much as the shuttle was easily accessible. The owners also provided recommendations for things to do and were very nice. I would highly recommend staying at the Palms of Destin and would rebook upon return to Destin! We loved every minute of our vacation.

Based on our stay, POV…

1.) check in process itself went fine, however no carts were available. We had to carry everything in ourselves from the parking garage to west tower 5th floor. Day before check out same thing, no carts available, had to carry things out same way. Property needs more carts. 2.) Cleanliness of unit, cleaning crew needs to do a better job. Clearly dusty, fingerprints visible on wood chairs and stools, baseboards need attention, wall in bathroom needs attention. Sand on floors when we got there. Had me uneasy about sanitation and getting comfortable. Looking over the balcony, cans on the ground, may still be there. 3.) Kitchen was stocked very good. Paper towels, dishwasher detergent almost took us throughout our stay. Laundry detergent almost took us throughout our stay. Some miscellaneous cooking items were there. Coffee filters were there, which I forgot to pack, so that was good. 4.) Balcony chairs, look into. 5.) Pool area nice. 6.) Coffee shop, needs improvement, quality of what’s served 7.) Proximity to Henderson Beach, convenient 8.) Proximity to restaurants, convenient 9.) would we return to this property-probably not

Love the place but………

Our family of 5 had a great week in Destin. I have rented from VRBO multiple times, and this was easily the best communicating property owner I’ve come across. The check in process was extremely easy, and communication during the process was great. The unit was very clean and well taken care of. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 5 and had everything that we needed including a washer and dryer, sheets, bathroom towels, kitchen appliances, full-size fridge and ice maker etc. The only downsides: 1. The pullout couch - while the mattress was thicker and soft, the pullout frame is somewhat bent - it looked like my son was sleeping in a tilted taco lol. 2. The balcony furniture is not comfortable, and was falling apart 3. The coffee shop, and the interior restaurant were both closed (possibly for renovations, but we never saw anyone working in there) and we expected those to be open for breakfast etc. 4. Pool side - yes, there is a bar / restaurant and was supposed to be pool side servers - we had a server available maybe 1 day, and there was only one working which made it difficult to get anything. 5. The pool side chairs obviously haven’t been updated in years, they were warped and some falling apart, and they were not comfortable. Overall - the pool is huge and the kids enjoyed it, the staff on site was extremely friendly and helpful, the place felt completely safe and the unit was very clean. The elevators were very fast and overall it is a nice property, just some areas that obviously need updated, and like everywhere else I’m sure was struggling with staffing due to being post COVID -

Great place!

We had a great time at the Palms. The condo was great, a little rocky of a start, but only got better from there. The owners are wonderful and communicated with us often. There was a bit that the cleaning crew missed, but Thomas, the owner rectified that immediately. We would definitely stay there again. The pools were great and lots of things close to the condo. It was pretty quiet, which was good b/c our 10 month old was sleeping early nightly. Plenty of supplies in the condo which made it easy to cook. We walked across the street for a beach day, short drive to outlets, the parade, etc. Thank you to the Lamb's for a great stay!

Great get away

The check in process was extremely easy and all of the staff were very helpful. The owners were very easy to communicate with. I needed an extra parking pass for the golf cart we rented and they made sure there was one waiting on us. The condo was very clean and much nicer than I anticipated. The pool was fantastic with servers walking around taking drink orders. The beach is just across the street but I’d advise going to Henderson State Park it cost $6 to get in but there’s much more room on the beach to set up. All in all it was a great trip and I highly recommend this rental!

Great place for a vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It’s just one simple block away from the beach and you can walk, drive or take the shuttle to shops and restaurants. The unit is in excellent condition and was very clean. The property has an indoor and an outdoor restaurant. The staff at the Palms are amazing and just overall very friendly and caring. There’s live entertainment Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s. Also It’s an easy walk to Henderson State beach. This is our second stay in Destin. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

The condo was clean and looks exactly like what is advertised in pictures. The pool is amazing! Great location from the beach, boardwalk, Walmart, etc. Everything is within 10 min drive or less. The owner gave us suggestions of things to do in Destin, and was easily able to be contacted. I would definitely stay here again! Great trip!

Great Beach Retreat

We had a wonderful week at this condo and resort. We were a bit hesitant to travel to Florida given the recent numbers in Florida, but this fear was overcome once we arrived. The apartment was spacious and enough room for my spouse, my 2.5 year old son and myself. The pool was AMAZING!! My son loved the splash pad and the giant pool. There was plenty of room and this social distancing there was not an issue. You are a short drive to many state parks and beaches. We’d recommend this place to everyone wanted a great escape.

Super Clean and Well Stocked!

The condo was extremely clean and we appreciated the owner’s extra efforts and communication with COVID-19 being a concern. He really went above and beyond. The condo was well equipped with plenty of space for my wife and three children ages 12, 12, 15. Kitchen has everything you need and the new floors in the home were very nice. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on. The owners also provided some beach chairs for us and there were some inflatables and sand toys available as well. The complex was busy, but never did we feel we didn’t have enough space to socially distance. The pools are gorgeous and there is a nice little restaurant/bar on site. The common areas were clean and the staff was helpful and pleasant. You are a ten minute walk to beach access and a couple of restaurants, but a better bet for the beach, thanks to the owner’s recommendation, is Henderson State Park for a small fee. Wal-Mart is super close, but there is also a Publix and Winn Dixie close by for groceries. We didn’t do much except beach and pool, but it was just what we’re hoping for. Thank you again to the kind owners for sharing their beautiful condo! We appreciate the hospitality!

Highly recommend!

This condo worked perfect for us and the kids. They loved the trundle bed and having their own tv. The AC worked great and the condo has been nicely remodeled. Henderson state park beach is a 3 minute drive, not crowded and absolutely beautiful. We all loved the pool at the Palms especially the kids! It was even bigger than I expected and very clean and I am picky when it comes to cleanliness. Harborwalk Village was also just a short drive away with so much to do and we went on a dolphin cruise. The condo owner was extremely helpful and kept in contact with us making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for an amazing family vacation:)

Awesome Condo in a great location!

The condo was great! Super clean, roomy, comfortable beds and an awesome pool. We chose to drive to Henderson Beach every day, which was a quick 5 minute drive. The beach was beautiful and way less crowded than the beach area by all of the large resorts. Communication with the owner was perfect and we had a wonderful 7 day stay. I would totally recommend this unit and we will be back for sure!
