This is a Modern first floor apartment on The Bay Holiday village with a wide range of on-site facilities, including pool, gym and pub. Direct access to long sandy beaches. The apartment is 3 miles from Filey and within easy reach of the traditional seaside towns of Bridlington and Scarborough. With an open plan living area, this well-appointed apartment has separate bedroom, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, it is modern and welcoming.

• Gas central heating
• Electric oven and hob, microwave with oven, fridge with icebox, washing machine, dishwasher, Full size oven and TV with DVD, Fibre Optic WiFi

• One well-behaved small/medium size dog. Under no circumstances can any dogs be left unattended in the apartment.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please return keys to the key safe, lock all doors and shut windows, and hang the pool pass on the peg. Lost keys or passes incur a £10 replacement charge as we need to make copies for the next guest.
Please empty bins into the communal bins in the car park behind the property before leaving, as we may not clean the same day. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the property unattended, under any circumstances as this is part of the property lease.
Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture under any circumstance. Only 1 small to medium dog allowed.
On departure all bins need to be emptied and the Owners Pass left otherwise a £10.00 fee will need to be administered.

As soon as i drive into the entrance of the Bay…I feel myself relax…I can’t recommend this apartment enough…it really is home from home…The apartment has everything you need for an amazing stay…the host has thought of everything…even down to leaving treats for my dog…Highly recommend a visit…You won’t be disappointed.

Can’t recommend this apartment highly enough. Decided to spend Christmas at the coast…I can’t thank the host enough, for making our visit so special. The apartment was decorated for Christmas and there was even a present left for us to open…The apartment is definitely home from home. Will be booking to visit again very soon.

Upstairs apartment, good location on complex - not far from amenities. Nice light room with kitchenette, good bathroom and larger than expected bedroom with double bed (a king size bed would be more fitting and appreciated). Had a lovely short stay. Would recommend.

The apartment is furnished and decorated in good taste and very clean. The complex has a nice pub a resaurant only a few minutes walk away. The beautiful year round dog friendly Bay beach is 10 minutes walk away. Filey a 10 minute drive away and the famous Pie bald Inn 5 minute drive away. Pie Bald Inn has 52 pies to choose from and one for your dog. Would we stay at this appartment again? Most definitely, what is there not to love.

Brilliant dog friendly location

Myself, my partner and our 6 month year old Cocker Spaniel puppy loved this apartment. It was in a brilliant location, close to the beach and Filey centre. The village had a decent pub with good food and drinks and plenty of activities. It was extremely dog friendly! Our host was brilliant and her apartment is ideal, with all the equipment you would need and extras such as nowtv and even dog biscuits for Daisy. We will definitely come back, although Daisy might be too big for the apartment soon!

A lovely apartment with absolutely everything you could need - very comfortable + spotless Just me + my dog on this little vacation + we had a great time The little treats on arrival were very kind - including Kit Kats + dog biscuits A great location with easy access to Filey Bay beach which is beautiful + lots of other nice places close by just an easy drive up + down the coast - one afternoon we went to Flamborough Head up on the cliffs to watch the seals in one of the coves

A lovely modern apartment

I had a great stay in this lovely apartment it was cosy and warm and had everything you could need for a short stay. Loved that both TVs had loads of channels and access to Netflix etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Great place

The apartment is to the south of Filey and a ten minute walk to the beach. Communication from Lucy was brill, she kept me up to date with my booking. Check in was easy and the apartment was clean and just what we needed having had a US holiday cancelled due to Covid. Definitely would recommend

We own seven properties, three of these are apartments on The Bay Filey Bay Cove was the first apartment Filey Bay Cove bought in 2015, Yorkshire Coast Retreat is the ground floor flat bought in 2016 and recent addition East Coast Escape.


Why they chose this property

This property is modern and built around 2009 on the former Butlins site, you can still see signs of The railway station that bought the campers to the site. Filey is a fantastic base between Scarborough and Bridlington, with other towns, cities, historic sites and attractions within an hours drive.

We don't meet all our guests, we have the facility for guests to use the key box. As I only live in Scarborough I am often on site and love it when I meet guests and find out their stories of where they come from and why they have come to Filey, children and dogs always have something wonderful to tell me.
The youngest guest was three days old and they oldest - you don't like to ask a ladies age but we have had guest in there 90s.

What makes this property unique

Guests fall in love with the apartments for different reasons, the look of all the different properties at The Bay with a real holiday fairy tale feel. The peace and quite, the ability to take your dog everywhere with you. Cosying up with a book, TV, Film on a winters evening. The rabbits on the roundabout. The activities and the places to explore. The ability to stop and do nothing. The beach just a short walk away, the beach just a short drive away, the beach huts at Filey/Bridlington. The ability to have the feeling of coming home (same flat nearly every month) or the guests who call in the morning any flat will do and are unpacked and on the beach same afternoon - every guest has a different reason. I'm so glad we have been able to accommodate so many of our regular and new guests by adding the new apartment in 2019
