Beautiful house, spacious garden.

Beautiful house with a spacious garden. Prime location for the D-day beaches and restaurants and shops close by. The owners of this house very very helpful and extremely friendly. Our stay was pleasurable from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend this property. Thank you Bertrand and Florence!

Comfortable, clean, large, fully equipped house

We were a large group of 7 people and the house was an oasis of space, spotless cleanliness, calm, and security close to all the Normandy sites. Big Carrefour 10mins away and excellent small village butcher and boulangerie very close. Fast communication with owner and she very kindly helped us with a favor.

Good value in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay here, it was a good value, quiet neighborhood, and an accurate listing. Well-stocked kitchen with lots of yard space to play in. Owner made accommodations for us for our large family with sufficient sleeping arrangements. We stayed here as a base for exploring Normandy and D-day related activities, which was a bit far, but still very doable. I'm tall so the lower ceilings (due to vaults) in the bedrooms weren't terribly comfortable but pretty normal for europe.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einem gemütlichen Ferienhaus in der Normandie

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen und ist noch viel schöner, als auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Es ist so lebendig - man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Der große Garten ist toll und lädt mit der Terasse und dem großem Tisch dazu ein, bei schönem Wetter draußen zu essen. Das Meer ist mit dem Auto in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Florence stand als Ansprechpertnerin immer zur Verfügung. Alles in allem eine schöne und erlebnisreiche Zeit!

Great location. Owners superb. I do think the online listing undersells the property, there are three full double rooms and one bedroom with single bed and pull out single. Overall wonderful I will be back.

Angenehmes Haus mit großem Garten

Wir - Großeltern, Eltern, ein Kind -, haben 2 Wochen in dem Haus von Florence und Bertrand verbracht und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist schöner und freundlicher als auf den Photos erkennbar - die Zimmer sind in strahlenden Farben gestrichen, im großen Wohn-Eßbereich stehen viele Orchideen, es ist alles lichtdurchflutet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist sehr groß; leider war das von den Vermietern beschriebene Trampolin nicht mehr da, auch nur eine Sonnenliege (die anderen waren gestohlen worden, und Florence war noch nicht dazu gekommen, sie zu ersetzen). Viel Kinderspielzeug, viele Bälle, drei Sitzgruppen im Garten - das Wetter war herrlich, und wir konnten fast jeden Morgen draußen frühstücken. Zur Aufteilung: Im EG ein SZ, eine Toilette, großer integrierter Küche-Eß-Wohn-TV-Bereich, sehr gemütlich. Eine steile Treppe führt in den 1. Stock, hier ein Schlafzimmer mit integriertem kleinen Bad, ein großes Bad, eine Toilette, zwei Schlafzimmer. Das Haus ist für eine große Familie ideal. Sehr gute Lage zu den Landungsstränden, zu Caen, Bayeux etc - die Gegend ist sehr angenehm. Im Nachbarort Mathieu sind ein sehr guter Metzger/Traiteur, Bäcker, ein Restaurant (war leider geschlossen, soll aber sehr gut sein) und ein ein kleiner Laden, wo man ab 18.30h hervorragende Pizza bestellen kann. Vielen Dank, Florence - you are a very food hostess! The house is much nicer than the pictures - painted in bold colors with many loving touches. Very comfortable kitchen - eating- living room on ground floor level leading to the big garden with bbq and different lounging areas. One bedroom, one WC are also on the ground floor. Th stairs leading to the 1st floor are quite steep, there are 3 bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, one big bathroom and a WC upstairs. The house is ideally located for visiting the landing beaches, but also Caen, Bayeux and all of Normandy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! Thank you, Florence, for everything!

Belle maison, on se sent comme chez soi

La maison est très équipée, agréable à vivre et proche de nombreux sites historiques de la seconde guerre mondiale. Nous avons passé un très agréable WE de visites et promenades en Normandie.

Superbe maison, très agréable

Nous avons passé 3 jours très agréables dans cette maison conviviale et très pratique. Tout y était, barbecue :), trampoline, grande terrasse, grand jardin et grand soleil, rien ne manquait ! Malgré notre retard, l'accueil de Florence est au top, un grand merci à elle ! Je recommande vivement !

mooi huis met een grote tuin in een rustig dorp.

We hebben erg genoten van dit ruime en goed voorziene huis, ideaal gelegen om Normandië te ontdekken! De eigenaar was vriendelijk en we kunnen dit huis zeker aanbevelen, enkele minpunten: het huis was slechts oppervlakkig schoongemaakt en was rommelig omdat er veel spullen van de eigenaar aanwezig zijn, en voor 8 personen zijn er niet voldoende zitplaatsen in de zithoek, ook was de kwaliteit van de WIFI erg slecht. wat betreft de omgeving: Courseulles is een mooi plaatsje met goede voorzieningen zoals midget golf, bowling, horeca en strand, ook Arromaches is erg mooi. Caen heeft een mooi centrum (parkeren bij het kasteel van Willem de veroveraar) en goede voorzieningen. verder zijn er veel musea en gedenkplaatsen met betrekking tot D-Day, kortom zeer de moeite waard!

We are sorry for the drawback of the wifi, there was work in the village which broke the wifi network, and the company was slow to help out us. You had a "web troteur" solution which was only an interim solution. Sorry again.

Excellent Family home!

The owners of this home were very friendly and professional. The house was clean, well maintained, and perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids loved the trampoline in the backyard!

Super week-end de l'Ascension!

Tout a été fait pour que nous passions un agréable séjour : grand jardin avec trampoline, propreté, condiments et tout ce dont on a besoin à disposition, sans parler des DVD, BD et jeux, on a adoré et les enfants aussi! En plus, Florence nous a accueilli avec du muguet et un panier gourmand en cadeau... super! Parfait comme localisation pour profiter et visiter les plages du débarquement. Je recommande!

WE en famille

superbe WE, accueil avec le sourire, au village de Mathieu, 1,5km excellents boulanger et charcutier, Merci Florence pour la bonne adresse de fruits de mer a Colleville, nous étions à 15min des plages, bref tout était excellent. La maison est à l'image des photos du site, propre et bien entretenue et la propriétaire a l'écoute de ses hôtes

Super sejour

location idéale pour famille, nous étions 2 familles, maison spacieuse pour nous tous, très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Très bien située pour visiter les plages du débarquement. Pour parfaire le tout, propriétaire agréable et accueillant.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette maison, très bien équipée on n'a manqué de rien. La terrasse et le grand jardin sont très appréciables. La maison est très propre, moderne et situé dans un lotissement très calme. Nous étions à 5 minutes en voiture de Caen et 10 min de la mer. Les enfants étaient également ravis de leur séjour dans cette maison puisque beaucoup de dvd à disposition ainsi que des jeux de société. En bref d'excellentes prestations, avec des propriétaires professionels et sympathiques.

louée, le temps d'un week-end, nous avons pu profiter du jardin avec jeux et barbecue toute la journée et d'un agréable séjour une fois à l'intérieur. Idéale pour profiter de Caen et des plages environnantes
