What a sweet little house! It was clean and organized and had everything we needed, and was a few minutes walk to West Beach. The hosts left clear instructions and were available for questions. I’d definitely recommend it, and we’d stay here again.

We were in town for a family event. Short stay (2 nights - arrived late and family event all day, then we were there and out early the next morning) but the host was responsive to all questions and we enjoyed our stay. Clean, had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone.

Definitely planning on returning!

We had a great stay at this property! The house was so cute and clean and very kid friendly! It had everything we needed and more and there’s lots of sleeping room. It’s a quiet neighborhood and being such a short walk to the beach was amazing. We hope to book another stay in the near future.

The hosts were great and very accomodating, allowing me to come early. We were there to help out our daughter as they prepared for their first child. Plenty of room and stocked kitchen for our needs. (Borrowed what we needed from our daughter to prepare a variety of foods for their freezer).Bedrooms are small and bathroom (especially shower) is tiny--go in knowing that and work to your needs! Liked the shelf space and cabinets in bathroom so I didn't have live out of travel bags for 17 days!

Good little beach house for families. Short walk to a beach. Quiet neighborhood. Adorably decorated. Lots of sleeping space. And separate areas to relax. Had to bring sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels and beach toys.

Beach toys are stored with beach chairs in the outdoor storage shed. Property clearly lists all the other items are not supplied and a reminder to pack those items is in the welcome email.

Great Location, Comfortable Home.

This cute house is located a very quick walk from the shore, but close to the highway, restaurants and shops. The house is exactly as advertised, and the beds are very comfortable. Our family of four had more than enough room and all the amenities we needed. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, so the outdoor shower was shut off. The shower inside is pretty small if you (like the author) are a little bigger. But it’s very serviceable. The outdoor shower is larger. The owners were very communicative and responsive. We will stay here again!

Westbrook July 20- 27, 2024

Property was as expected for the most part and the kitchen offered way more than other other rentals have in the past (i.e. this property had a large variety of pots/pans, plenty of plates/bowls for a crowd and of all sizes, lots of utensils, plenty of plastic glassware nd mugs). Although the VRBO ad indicated 5 TVs (if I'm recalling correctly), there were only 4 TVs, but we never used the TVs, so it didn't matter. There were lots of sand toys, 2 beach carts, and several boogie boards to utilize. with a very short 1 block walk to the local beach. Our famiy of 3 adults and 3 kids had a very enjoyable stay.

Sump pump so loud

Great house, great location. Our week was so not quiet or ralaxing in the house though. At arrival the sump pump was on, it was loud, we could not go anywhere in the house to not hear it. This made sleep almost impossible for us. The pump never turned off. 7 days of non stop loud sump pump was insane.

We spoke with the renter immediately when they messaged about the noise. They said the pump was going off, but not that it was stuck on. The housekeeper informed us that it was stuck on after their stay. The sump pump has now been replaced.

Super cute cottage

Super cute cottage. Very close to the beach. (Although not beach weather in Oct.) Decorated very nicely. Very nice floor plan. Only 800+. sq. ft. but feels much larger. We didn't like having to bring our own towels, sheets, and paper towels. Yes, it's stated clearly. That's not the issue. Just would have preferred to pay a little more, and not have to bring these things.

Fantastic family friendly cottage,everything we wanted and more!

We were pleasantly surprised upon arriving to this beautifully kept cottage. The pictures don't do it justice! It's so clean,spacious and nicely decorated. We were very,very impressed. There is plenty provided for what you may need for a beach vacation or family getaway. We forgot a few things at home and sure enough, the house was stocked with the essentials-tin foil,sandwich bags,condiments,beach chairs,etc. We had a few small children with us and they surely enjoyed the sun room equipped with a child's table and chairs,books/crayons,and the day bed where they could lounge and watch T.V. when we weren't at the beach and when the adults were cooking dinner. The small side yard was just enough for what we needed-the grill,patio furniture and outdoor shower were all put to good use. We had more than enough sleeping space and really loved the sectional couch for family movie night! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay! We will, for sure, be renting from David and Heather again. We can't think of anything that we would change or could ask for. We can't wait to go back!
