The location is amazing and so are the views. Very east access to and from public transportation as well. Well worth it!

Breathtaking Location but With Many Deferred Maintenance Issues
This rental offers stunning views of the Castle to the south and the Firth to the north. The separation of spaces is ideal for two couples and high up on George Street minimizes the street noise from pub goers. But the flat was plagued with deferred maintenance issues: burned out bulbs, light switches that were worn out, lamps broken from careless use, a short in the refrigerator bulb (it went out even after being changed), bathroom lights that flickered for a minute before settling, the wifi going out completely on the last night. It is easy to get in touch with Altido staff and they send maintenance people around very quickly, but the flat needs to be taken off the market for a week and given a good working over. As a policy, the company skimps on basic supplies and the washer/dryer combo doesn't handle cleaning towels for a longer stay. It's tiny, it washes but doesn't dry. Great location and views, unacceptable deficiencies in the practical living situation.
