The apartment itself was delightful; clean, comfortable, and met our needs. It had a great kitchenette and bathroom. However, the neighbourhood of Mouraria was rather poor and dilapidated, with dark, narrow laneways that caused us some unease. The location, though, was within easy walking distance of Martim Moniz and Rossio Metro stations, the friendly Praca da Figueira open air market, and the recommended #15 tram for exploring the rest of Lisboa.
