Beautiful typical French Manor with private swimming pool

Mon Désir is a beautiful, typically French manoir house located in the most stunning part of the Périgord Noir (Dordogne/Lot) and suitable for up to 14 guests. This luxurious holiday property, featuring a large heated private pool and complete privacy, consists of two buildings:

• The Manoir for up to 10 guests
• The Gîte for up to 4 guests

The estate covers more than 4 hectares (a large part of it fully dog-proof fenced!) and is situated on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views over the Dordogne and Lot valleys. The medieval town of Gourdon, with all amenities and many restaurants, is only a 10-minute drive away. In the nearby village you will also find a bakery and a good restaurant just a few kilometres from the property.

Mon Désir is ideal for multiple families, groups or friends travelling together, yet it is also wonderfully private and romantic for couples. A luxurious holiday retreat for an unforgettable stay.

Inside
The main house offers a generous living space of 260 m² and features a spacious living room with a modern open kitchen and French doors leading to the terrace. There are five bedrooms in total, two bathrooms, and an additional bedroom with its own shower. The bedrooms are spread across the first and second floors and all have air conditioning.

Gite
The separate gîte offers complete privacy and is suitable for up to four guests. It includes a cosy living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, and is fully equipped with air conditioning in both the bedrooms and the living room. The gîte is never rented out to other guests; if you do not book it, it simply remains closed.

Outside
The estate surrounding Mon Désir consists of meadow and woodland and covers more than four hectares. Thanks to the centuries-old trees and gently rolling landscape, the atmosphere is peaceful and charming. Outside, you will find a large heated private pool, several terraces, a spacious courtyard and ample parking. There is also a small outbuilding used as a playroom. A large part of the grounds is fully fenced, making it ideal for guests travelling with dogs.

Surroundings
Mon Désir is perfectly located between the Lot and the Dordogne, giving you easy access to some of the region’s most beautiful destinations. Places such as Sarlat, Domme, La Roque-Gageac, Rocamadour, Padirac and Gourdon are all within easy reach. The views are endless, and thanks to the extremely low light pollution (among the lowest in Europe) you can enjoy an extraordinary starry sky at night. Great restaurant in the village at walking distance.

Price Mon Désir outside July and August based on the main house only (max 10 persons). If you also want to rent the (large) gite you will be charged €500 extra. The extra gite will never be rented separately!
