Beautiful place.

Great place to stay for hiking and slowing down. Wonderful butcher just a walk away. Friendly little village. Can catch a bus to and from St. Ives as well as other villages nearby. Far enough away to feel like one can get away from it all yet easy enough to find pubs and other necessities. This is a place to go to to be somewhere and don’t expect great internet. There’s so much more to do than to be on the internet along the Cornwall coast.

This is a lovely cottage. Good location, very quiet and remote perfect for switching off, but also just a short drive away from Penzance, St Ives and 20min away from Lands End. Quote spacious and comfortable. We found all that we needed in the kitchen to prepare homecooked dinners. Cornish biscuits on a side and a pint of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The reason for an overall 4* is that we found the cleaning standards in the cottage questionable: dead flies on window sills, dust, hair in beds, packaging and odd items in wardrobes, musty smell.
