The main house is believed to date from the 17th century
with later additions and has attractive brick, whitewashed
and tile hung elevations, all under a mainly pitched tile roof.
Internally the house provides well arranged accommodation
over two floors and retains many period features which
include honey coloured exposed wall and ceiling timbers,
woodburning stoves in both the drawing room and sitting
room/dining room, and there is an inglenook fireplace in the
drawing room with a copper canopy.
