Clean and comfortable

Our only comments were the second bedroom was rather small and the "welcome pack" could have included more items such as tea, coffee and milk.

Very nice apartment. However, when we looked at booking the same time next year, we found that the price had shot up by approx £600.00. Also dogs are no longer welcome!

Great stay at the Fishes

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Fishes. The apartment was a very high standard. The kitchen had everything you need. Very comfortable beds and good quality linen. The surroundings were lovely and we were able to have bbq’s. the apartment was very clean. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your apartment.

Our first family holiday <3

St Ives was our first family trip with our 9 month old baby born in lockdown and it was perfect from start to finish! We arrived and couldn’t believe how perfect the apartment was and how completely spotless it was - I couldn’t find the travel cot and high chair we had requested and contacted Cornish hideaways straight away - within an hour a chair and cot was dropped to us - it was completely my fault but later on in our trip I found them hidden away very safely! I have since sent an apology email for any inconvenience caused but I was very impressed how quickly they got them out to us. The location was great! Out of the hustle and bustle of the main town but close enough to easily walk in and out - and get our exercise up the hills haha! Loved being able to see the sea in the distance from the apartment too! We have already booked to come back next year and cannot wait to make some more family memories - it’s a 10/10 from us! X

Lovely Cornwall

We found the flat clean, comfortable, well equipped, although could have done with more cups. Excellent showers. The sofas are very low, so not the best for anyone with a hip replacement. It should be pointed out that it is quite a distance, downhill to centre of St Ives so not suitable for dodgy hips and wonky knees. As we are all over 70, this applied to us.

A clean, smart retreat from the bustle of St Ives - with parking!

The Fishes is a modern, fresh apartment situated high behind Porthminster beach. It’s a little less than ten minutes walk downhill to central St Ives, but be prepared for a steep walk home. The kitchen is well equipped, with good storage and a big fridge freezer. The little terrace gives a bit of unenclosed outside space although being it doesn’t get a lot of sun (in October anyway). We had a lovely two weeks in The Fishes and would recommend it as a good base for a St Ives holiday.
