We had a lovely week at California Halt. The weather was great, so we made full use of the beach up the road. The location of the cottage was ideal and it was very clean. The owners had thought of every detail to make sure we had everything we needed.

Arguably the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in.
Arguably the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in. Extremely clean and cosy with everything you could ever need included. From Toiletries, towels linen to a very generous welcome basket of food/snacks on arrival.Great location also. A beach less than 10mins walk away and only a small drive to the nearest supermarket. I can't recommend California Halt highly enough.

This was an absolutely charming holiday home! Everything had so much thought and attention! The toiletries were lovely, the welcome pack really was most welcome!Cosy blankets in the sitting-room to snuggle under, (the granddaughters were impressed by the electric reclining chair!)A great selection of dads, games and books. Then the beach was so close - even though it was soo cold, being mid-February, it would be great innthe summer. We would recommend this to anyone!
