Take a walk along the beach or head into the woodland garden and arboretum of Galloway House Gardens, famous for its spring display of azaleas and rhododendrons. Situated close to The Galloway Forest Park, Britain’s largest forest park, with 300² miles of wild beauty waiting to be explored. The park boasts tranquil valleys, rugged rock faces, forest, moorland, lochs and ancient woodland, home to a plethora of wildlife including red and roe deer, wild goats and many birds of prey.

Golf and fishing can be found within easy reach, as are the Galloway Hills and the world class 7 Stanes mountain bike trails. Wigtown, known as Scotland’s ’book town’, Whithorn and the harbour villages of Isle of Whithorn and Port William are all close by and make for wonderful days out with your loved ones.
