The nearby Isle of Whithorn, a picturesque fishing village, is steeped in history and charm. Visitors can explore the Whithorn Trust Visitor Centre, which delves into the area's rich archaeological heritage and its association with St. Ninian, who brought Christianity to Scotland. Glad Times in Galloway & Dumfries

Lovely property, Gillian was excellent as a host. Our only concern was the proximity to the family's kitchen (other side of the door in the lounge) which reduced privacy somewhat, although they made every effort to keep very quiet. Also, the key safe was a bit difficult to open - probably needs renewing.
