About this property
Príncipe Real 1 - Garden - Wonderful two bedroom duplex apartment right next to Príncipe Real garden
Wonderful two bedroom duplex apartment in a completely renewed building, with elevator, next to Jardim do Príncipe Real - one of the most charming areas of Lisbon. Surrounded by hip shops, bars, restaurants and all the transportation you might need. Very close to Chiado and Bairro Alto, but with the calm and charm of the Príncipe Real. Extremely quiet and comfortable. An excellent choice for families, couples and groups of friends. In the apartment you will find: - Bedroom with kingsize bed on the first floor. - Bathroom with jacuzzi and shower and on the first floor. - Bedroom on second floor with queen size bed. - Bathroom with shower on the second floor. - Living/dining room with dining table for 6 people and a comfortable sofa. - Small extra living area on the second floor. - Fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, coffee maker, ironing board and iron. - Prime quality sheets, towels and everything. - Black-out cortines in all rooms. - Air conditioning and heating in all rooms. - Hair dryer. - Cable TV with over a hundred channels. - High speed WiFi. What else? Príncipe Real is the "it" district in Lisbon, being the neighborhood where the new restaurants and the most alternative shops are concentrated. This part of the city has been called "Royal Prince" (Príncipe Real) in honor of D. Pedro V, son of Dona Maria II and its located on top of chic Chiado and beside bohemian Bairro Alto. Príncipe Real has became a hipster area of the city thanks to several design shops that have emerged recently, attracting an increasingly younger population. However, it keeps intact its essentially residential charm with beautiful gardens, two of the city's quieter squares (Principe Real and Flores) and palaces. Its charm makes it one of the most exclusive neighborhoods and sought after regions to live. Contrasting with the age of the recently recovered buildings and the pieces exhibited in the antiquaries of the zone, Príncipe Real shows a new vitality, becoming more and more cosmopolitan. All this without mentioning the proximity of Bairro Alto and Chiado´s famous nightlife, shopping and leisure areas. We will be here to help you in case you need any assistance.

It was a nice apartment in a great part of town and appreciated the parking in the garage downstairs. All was in working order except we couldn't get the TV to work. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!
Great area! And at the top of the hill. Cute shops, wonderful restaurants for lunch or dinner, coffee just across the street. And easy location for taxi/ Uber pick up to anywhere else in Lisbon.
For two people, this unit was perfect. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on separate floors. Kitchen had all the amenities to make it feel like home plus a washer and dryer. Location could not have been more ideal!! Safe part of town. Easy access for uber pickups, and close to many bakeries, restaurants and shops.
I highly recommend this place. Clean and comfortable and in a great location. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Joaquin was there to meet us and answer any of our questions.
Large apartment in a prime area of Lisbon. It allows you to have a home base to explore most of the best city attractions. Easy check-in/check-out process and good communication between the host. Would recommend.
Well equipped and as advertised. Great to have a washer and dryer. Location was great for restaurants, cafes and coffee. Friday night was noisy as expected due to local nightlife although it was mostly great Jazz music. Beds were comfortable. Minor issue with shower handles was resolved quickly by Joaquim, the wonderful host.
The apartment location made it easy to walk to many nice restaurants, shopping and sites in this vibrant area. Had everything required as a base for our city visit. Clean, comfortable and convenient, with very good hosts.

Delicious brunch, maybe the best I’ve had. I recommend staying here but would suggest you request a room away from the street.
The place is charming and the service wonderful!!
This is a lovely property and situatated in a fun neighborhood with nearby restaurants and garden. The beds are very comfortable, the apartment is clean with laundry facility. The hosts were attentive, helpful, and accomodating.
We were able to drop off our luggage at 12:30 which was super helpful. Great location for walking anywhere, catching the train, seeing shops, restaurants and beautiful streets. No issues or concerns. NO PARKING available if a person had a vehicle -- but we didn't so not an issue.

Central Lisboa
This is a fantastic location in Lisboa, the place was roomy, a little noisy but the central location made up for it!
Property was so cool. 2 bedroom loft in in the heart of a cool little area. Lots of great places to eat and drink. Many mom and pop stores. The loft was excellent and we would recommend it in a heartbeat.
Check in process was smooth and easy. Allowed to drop off bags eary which was a big benefit. Loved the location. Opportunities for improvement include extra towels, paper towel, waters, and hair conditioner.
Close to many great restaurants within walking distance. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Easy checkin experience. We were also allowed access to the apartment earlier than regular checkin since there was no one ahead of us. This helped greatly since we had an early arrival at the airport.
This is a great apartment for a holiday in Lisbon. When travelling with adult friends, it is one of the few apartments that I found that has double size beds in both bedrooms. It is a clean, comfortable, well equipped apartment in a great location in Principe Real. Joaquim was a great host and was very helpful with getting us settled into the unit.

It was a pleasure to welcome Ryan. He is most welcomed to stay anytime with us. All the very best from the Libest Houses team in Lisbon.
We had a wonderful stay at the Principe Real apartment. Claudia was so gracious to welcome us and show us everything in the apartment even with our delayed and late arrival. The neighborhood was wonderful with great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend going to Faz Frio across the street and get the clams and steak and frites. We had everything we needed in the well furnished and decorated apartment. Street noise was minimal except for late Friday night with recycle pick-up but that comes with the territory staying in a populated area. Thanks again to Claudia for all the help and hospitality. Obrigado :)
The apartment / loft itself was accurate to the listing, nice space overall with a bedroom and bathroom on the main level and on the loft level. Good communication from the host and manager.
The location has its pros and cons. Pros: easy walking distance to many great areas of Lisbon. Cons: at the edge of Principe Real and Bairro Alto there was a lot of noise at night with the restaurants and bars so nearby. If you’re a light sleeper you may want to reconsider.
Beds are a personal preference, we found them to be quite hard.
The place is nice and close to most things we wanted to see. I had a hard time figuring out the dryer but otherwise no problems with the flat. Communications with the owner went well. Trying to have VRBO answer simple questions about billing were difficult. I would consider staying there again if I traveled again to Lisbon.
We were amazed by the location (2 minutes walk from one of the city's Miradouros) and many other landmarks. The access to the apt by car was super easy coming from the newer part of town. We took Uber often if we wanted to go farther away from the old part as we were a party of three and Uber is way cheaper than in many other cities. The apt itself was extremely nice, we enjoy atypical properties and the building was uniquely remodelled and modernized. The duplex suited us perfectly as our teenage son retreated upstairs and monopolized the sitting area there as well. We were happy to have AC throughout (though the unit in the lower bedroom did not work well but the one in the living room compensated), two baths, and the clothes dryer was a great addition. The apt was very clean, the communication easy and quick. I totally recommend with one word of caution for people with mobility issues due to inside stairwell (otherwise the bldg has 2 excellent elevators). This is not a minus because the whole old part of Lisbon would be challenging if one has mobility issues.:-) We totally loved it and made the visit to Lisbon very magical for us. There are plenty of restaurants around, and the pastry shop across was heavily frequented. They even have gluten free bread and a couple of other cookies - for the one of us who is Celiac. Otherwise, I would say walk 12 minutes to Continente for a variety of food items, but mostly eat outside sharing dishes - you'll never get bored.
