Great location and nice dining room table

This house is in an amazing neighborhood but it needs a lot of love including cleanliness, child safety adjustments, and basic supplies. I did love the dining room table and the common area and kitchen were mostly comfortable for a group setting.

Tahoma Charm

The property is cute place to stay with plenty of space and a nice backyard with hot tub. Only downside was the lack of glassware and working coffee pot.

The living room of the house is beautiful, but the layout of the house is not, the Master Room is on the main floor and the other two rooms were on the lower level where only through them we can access the Patio, There is not king size bed, the Light and bubbles in the jacuzzi did not work, towels were limited to one per person in addition to the excessively use as well as the bed sheets. The management office was very diligent with most of our requests.

Tahoe Cabin

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. However, I found it odd that someone was present when we arrived. I'm unsure if this was their way of verifying our party size to ensure we didn't exceed the guest limit. Nonetheless, I didn't appreciate it, especially since one of the rooms had a wet carpet. As a result, we couldn't use the hot tub on the first night as it didn't reach the required temperature until 10 pm, and the instructions stated that we couldn't use it after that time. Essentially, we only had the opportunity to use it for one day and night. Despite these issues, I found the cabin to be exceptionally clean and cozy. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from this place again!

Modest is accurate

Modest is an accurate description of this home. It is furnished with the basics and shows wear & tear (towels were stained, buttons were coming off the sofa). Our main issue was with the neighborhood & neighbors next door. The homes in this area are very close together. One of the neighbors had no less than 6 cars parked at the home during our stay and they were playing loud music (club-level loud)off and on throughout the weekend. They were also smokers and given the summer heat we had all the windows open to cool the house down so at times it seemed like the cigarettes were burning inside our own home.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The bottom line is that I would not return. I love Tahoma and the location is great. However, this is a very uncomfortable home. The beds had some of the most uncomfortable mattresses I have ever experienced. The pillows were so bad I had to buy one and have it shipped overnight. The couches are uncomfortable. There simply is no place to lounge and relax on vacation. Worst of all is the heat. This house gets VERY hot. We come to Tahoe every summer and I have never experienced anything like it. If the owners invested in some window fans and covered the main floor skylight (like they do in the bedroom), it would make a world of difference. Overall, I was deeply disappointed.

Needs a LOT of improvement

For the price that we paid for this house, we've had better value around Tahoe during the holidays. Simply put, the house was not clean (to the point of unhygienic), not adequately equipped, and the property management was hard to get a hold of for check-in issues. The house was simply not clean, which, for the price we paid ($$$) is just not okay. It looked okay upon entering, but we stayed for 4 nights, and it became quickly evident that this house desperately needed a deep clean. There was copious dust in all bedrooms and living room, which caused allergy symptoms for a few members of our group, trash had not been removed (3 huge bags left in the garage, which we had to take out ourselves), there were food remnants under couch cushions and under the couches (gross), a coffee machine with a broken/cracked carafe that resulted in the unpleasant surprise of coffee leaking everywhere, and used, crumpled up tissues with mystery fluids found in one of the beds (really gross). When we tried to contact property management about checking in during crazy Tahoe snow days, it was hard to reach them and we had to wait until someone called us back to be able to confirm even our travel plans. We had to call them multiple times to even get our check in code. On getting to the house, there were NO basic supplies like paper towels, garbage bags, or detergent. There was only a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. On calling property management, they said that in the rental agreement, they state that we have to provide for ourselves for more than 2 days. This is really bizarre - we've never had to do this for any other Tahoe stay, and in general, we've never showed up to a house with no basic supplies like garbage bags even. They eventually got us a starter pack of supplies at the very end of the next day. The saving grace of the house is that it's in a great neighborhood with a local (albeit small) market nearby. But net-net - we would not stay at this rental property again (especially at peak holiday pricing), nor would we recommend this particular property management company.

Great house

We had a great time in the house. The layout worked well for our group. The pictures represent the house well. A few things that could be improved: the hot tub water was rather murky (could just be because it's a wooden tub, not a jacuzzi type tub) and the bathroom amenities only included body wash, no shampoo.

First time at a cabin and cannot complain at all. Loved it!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and 5 friends spent 2 nights at this cabin. Everything was perfect! From cleanliness to location, etc. They had everything that you would have at a house(fridge, dishwasher, tv, garage, cooking utensils, bbq grill, etc. The only thing we couldn't find was the dvd player but it was ok because we used netix. This Tahoma cabin is about a mile from Chambers Landing Bar and Grill(only tried the punch ag the bar, didn't have dinner at the restaurant since we had more then enough food at home). Really close to the lake with beautiful views. The environment was really calm and quiet, all you hear is birds and the rain/snow. We didn't try the hot tub or the fire pit because it was pretty cold outside. Everyone loved it and I will be back here one day. Miss the Tahoma Charm already AA😀😀A😀😀😞
